Stage molton is a close-meshed, technical fabric. Molton fabric is ordered for event technology because it is opaque and sound-absorbing . Black stage molton is also light-proof. Stage molton is ideal as a fabric for theatre curtains or stage curtains. Red or black molton fabric is usually used as an opaque curtain for theatres or stages. The sound-absorbing molton not only creates a stylish atmosphere but also ensures professional acoustics. Flame retardant treatment for molton B1
All molton fabrics available in our molton shop are flame retardant, but molton is not a permanently flame retardant fabric. The flame retardancy of stage molton and decorative molton can be rendered ineffective by various influences, such as washing, ironing, dry cleaning and moisture. The flame retardancy can be renewed with Bioretard.
Molton is made of cotton, which is a natural product and therefore subject to certain fluctuations. We therefore cannot accept any liability for damage caused by washing or ironing the product.
Attaching stage molton and decorative molton
Eyelet molton can be easily stretched using bungee cords. Molton rolls or molton by the metre can be attached using Holdon clips or adhesive tape. You can also glue molton fabrics.
