Which material is perfect for the stage cladding?
There is no single right material for stage cladding. Even the distinction between wind-permeable and windproof is no longer crucial, since all stages are generally planned for windproof materials.
Meshes such as mesh and display fabric are generally less prone to creasing, easier to work with and provide perfect reproduction of the motif from a viewing distance of approx. 5 m. Another advantage is the matte surface and pleasant feel.
By contrast, tarpaulins with their closed surface provide an absolutely brilliant, detailed and razor-sharp print result and are also more dimensionally stable.
Which material you ultimately choose is therefore a matter of taste and depends on your stage design.
The right material for footers and headers and decorative elements
- For headers,, mesh or PVC tarpaulins are also used. Alternatively, plates made of Forex or Alu Dibond are also popular, in a straight form or as a plastic, contour-cut shape.
- Printed plexiglass is also a popular choice for eye-catching headers, which can be backlit.
- In addition to simple black mesh, PVC tarpaulins or panels are also suitable materials for footers, which can be optimally used as advertising space for sponsor branding.
