Display fabric is a lightweight, flexible polyester fabric and is considered the classic among printed cloth banners. The B1 fabric impresses with its high-quality, soft feel. The silk-matt, non-reflective and slightly structured surface enables excellent, detailed print quality ( 6c digital printing / thermal sublimation printing) with rich, intense colours. We print display fabric on one side using 6c digital printing / thermal sublimation printing. The slightly permeable polyester fabric is crease- and wrinkle-free and scores with its low material weight and easy assembly and disassembly. This makes the B1-certified (flame-retardant) display fabric the ideal material for lightweight textile/cloth banners, textile posters, press walls, high-quality covers, versatile decorative fabric, for piping frames and coverings in stage and exhibition construction, etc., mainly for indoor use. Print textile banners – made from 210 g/m² display fabric
Display fabric is a finely meshed, densely woven fabric made of 100% polyester, which can be printed in the best quality . The material impresses with its low weight, good tear resistance and a flowing, soft textile feel.
The fabric is lightweight, flexible and extremely versatile. Display fabric is particularly popular for high-quality textile posters, large-format advertising banners /textile banners and ceiling hangers (XXL cloth banners) as well as decorative banners for indoor use. Display fabric is flame-retardant (B1 according to DIN 4102) and certified according to, making it approved for indoor use.
We manufacture the fabric in your desired format. When configuring your order, you can choose between various options: simple cut, sewn, with eyelets or hemmed (hollow hem). Display fabric is printed on one side in 6-colour digital print (6 colours), with approx. 30% print-through. Alternatively, you can also find blockout display fabric and fabric with a stretch effect in our shop.

- Specify the width and height.
- Select the desired finishing for the top, bottom and side edges – you can choose from a range of standard finishes.
- Save the product.
- Then place your finished textile banner in the shopping basket and complete your purchase or add another item.
- After successful purchase, you will receive an order confirmation for your textile banners and a link to our data sheet, which contains important information regarding the creation and transmission of your print data.
- You will then receive a second email with an order confirmation and a personalised link for uploading your print data.
- The order confirmation also contains the expected delivery date*.
- We will check your data for printability. We will automatically correct minor errors for you. If the resolution or similar is incorrect, we will contact you. This service is free of charge for you!
- As soon as the data is correct, your products will go to print.
- The textile banners will be shipped to you after production.

The right finishing for every application: various finishing options are available for the display fabric, depending on your individual requirements.
The following finishing options are available:
Cut, eyelet or hemmed:
- cut (straight cut edges)
- hemmed with double safety seam
- hemmed with trim tape
- hemmed with edging tape and eyelet (only in the corners)
- hemmed with binding tape and eyelet (every 50 cm)
with flat hem:
- 4 cm flat hem (for diameters up to 2 cm)

We print display fabric seamlessly up to a width of 2.8 m. However, larger formats are also no problem; individual panels are sewn together at the back.
Textile banners printed in the highest quality
Textile materials such as display fabric can be printed in particularly vivid colours, as the fabrics absorb the ink well. Display fabric is printed using thermal sublimation printing, whereby the ink is printed onto the fabric and then vaporised. This results in a particularly vivid print image with detailed motif reproduction. The maximum width for seamless printing on display fabric is 2.8 m. Larger formats are also possible by sewing individual strips together.
Display fabric is printed on one side and has a print-through of approx. 30%. The base material and the unprinted reverse side of display fabric are white; depending on the print motif and lighting, the white material may be visible. In addition, the fabric is slightly translucent; with appropriate lighting, rear frames and similar structures are visible. The surface of display fabric is silk matt and non-reflective.

Display fabric cut with straight edges
- With this finishing option, you receive the display fabric simply cut with straight edges. This finish is particularly suitable if you want to process the fabric further, e.g. attach it to a frame construction, stretch it, etc.

Hemmed with double safety seam
- Here, the fabric is hemmed and the hem is sewn with a double safety seam (double seam). The fabric is folded over twice (double hemmed) and fixed on the back with two parallel seams. This double safety seam makes the hem particularly strong and protects the fabric from fraying. We recommend hemming for textile banners that are tensioned and fastened with Holdon clips and other accessories.

Display fabric hemmed with trim tape
- Here, the display fabric is folded over once (single hemmed) and a reinforcing trim tape is sewn onto the back. In addition, the corners are eyeleted with metal eyelets (inner diameter of eyelets: 12 mm). This finishing is ideal for cloth banners that are stapled or fastened with Holdon clip eyelets. The reinforcing trim makes the side edges particularly stable and tear-resistant.

Hemmed with binding tape and eyelets (only in the corners)
- With this finishing, the textile banner is also simply hemmed and the hem is reinforced with a trim tape sewn onto the back. In addition, the cloth banner is eyeleted in the four corners with metal eyelets (inner diameter of the eyelets: 12 mm). This finish makes textile banners particularly easy to attach, and the reinforced side edges provide optimum protection against tearing and fraying.

Hemmed with trim tape and eyelets (at intervals of 50 cm)
- To ensure that cloth banners are even more wrinkle-free, they can be finished with eyelets along the entire selected edge at intervals of 50 cm. The metal eyelets have an inner diameter of 12 mm and allow the textile banner to be stretched tightly using bungee cords, cable ties or rubber cord. With this finishing, the display fabric is also simply hemmed, reinforced with edging tape on the back and then eyelet-finished on the selected edge.

With hemstitching, optionally 4 cm, 8 cm or 10 cm wide
- Another finishing option in our configurator is the hemstitch. There are three different diameters to choose from, each measured on the flat hemstitch:
- 4 cm wide – this hemstitching is suitable for thin wooden and metal rods with a diameter of up to 2 cm
- 8 cm – we recommend this hemstitching for thicker rods and ropes with a diameter of up to 4 cm
- 10 cm – this wide hemstitching is ideal for pipes (ø 50 mm), Layher rods (ø 48.3 mm) and roof battens (max. 3 x 6 cm)

Note: The information on weather and UV resistance has been determined in studies under Central European conditions. Use in regions with different climatic conditions (high humidity, strong UV radiation), such as in southern European countries, tropical areas and desert regions, as well as in areas with high air pollution or at high altitudes, will cause a faster ageing process.
Information on the UV and weather resistance of display fabric
Many printing companies specify UV and weather resistance of up to 3 years for display fabric. However, these specifications are not always realistic for longer outdoor use. Display fabric is a lightweight textile fabric that is primarily designed for indoor use. Outdoor use is possible, but only in shaded, dry areas and for a limited period of time. Moisture, such as pressure dust, can damage the motif. In addition, the material can become saturated with rain.
The fabric can be used indoors for up to 5 years.
Textile banners – information on care, transport and storage
Display fabric is easy to care for and can be washed at 30°C with a mild detergent on a gentle cycle. The fabric can also be ironed. Please note, however, that washing and ironing affect the flame retardancy. The material is only B1 again after re-impregnation.
Display fabric is delivered folded as standard. However, shipping rolled on a core is also possible on request.
For wrinkle-free storage, we recommend either folding the fabric loosely or storing it rolled up on a roll. This is the best way to avoid creases and wrinkles. Make sure to store the fabric in a dry place to prevent mould growth.
Blockout and stretch banners – alternatives to 210 g/m² display fabric
We have various types of display fabric in our range. In addition to the classic display fabric with 210 g/m², the fabric is also available with stretch content in an elastic, shape-adaptable version and in an opaque version (blockout), also with or without stretch content.
As an even more wind-permeable alternative, we recommend polymesh, a polyester fabric with 110 g/m², which has a particularly permeable material structure (hole mesh) and is therefore ideal for large-area advertising nets, cladding, facade banners, scaffolding banners and similar applications. As a fine-mesh material for weather-resistant, wind-permeable advertising banners for outdoor use, we recommend mesh vinyl with 300 g/m², also available in our configurator.
