Cable ties black are made of robust nylon – polyamide 6.6 and are therefore extremely durable. Since the cable ties are UV-resistant, they can also be used outdoors for cable fastening over long periods without any problems. In addition, the assembly tape is weatherproof and resistant to lubricating greases, oils, alkalis and chlorate solvents. The fastener has only limited resistance to acids.

In the flammability tests for plastics, an open flame is applied to the test specimen for 10 seconds twice in the V test. The test evaluates the burning time and the burning parts that fall off. The V test is a vertical burning test; V2 means that the vertically clamped sample extinguishes within 30 seconds. The professional cable ties are RoHS II compliant – the EU Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

Are cable ties UV-stable?

Yes, black quick-release cable ties are UV-resistant and heat-resistant – ideal for outdoor fastening or bundling.
