Cable ties – colours
At allbuyone, you can also order standard cable ties in natural white. However, unlike cable ties in black, these are not UV-resistant!
Cable ties: material
Cable ties black are made of robust nylon – polyamide 6.6 and are therefore extremely resistant. Since the cable ties are UV-resistant, they can also be used outdoors for cable fastening over long periods without any problems. In addition, the assembly tape is weatherproof and resistant to lubricating greases, oils, alkalis and chlorate solvents. The fastener has only limited resistance to acids.
Note on optimal storage: Store the cable ties out of direct sunlight and other heat sources and in the original sealed packaging.
green"The fastening element has a water content of 2.5% in a state of equilibrium. Ties that have become rigid and brittle can be placed briefly in water and are then fully functional again.
Cable ties: flame-retardant quality according to UL94 V-2
The black cable ties in our range meet the requirements of fire propagation class UL94 V-2. In the flammability tests for plastics, an open flame is applied to the test specimen for 10 seconds twice in the V test. The test evaluates the burning time and the burning parts that fall off. The V test is a vertical burning test; V2 means that the vertically clamped sample extinguishes within 30 seconds. The professional cable ties are RoHS II compliant – the EU Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
Are cable ties UV-stable?
Yes, black quick-release cable ties are UV-resistant and heat-resistant – ideal for outdoor fastening or bundling. Since cable ties are often used to bundle cables for stage technology, such as speaker cables, this material property is particularly important. In the event of a cable fire caused by overvoltage, the heat-resistant fastening element will extinguish by itself.
Disposable cable ties – accessories for events
Thanks to their interlocking design, disposable cable ties can be closed precisely and effortlessly: Simply insert the cable strap through the head and tighten to the desired length. As soon as the cable straps are closed after installation, they cannot be reopened due to the solid interlocking design. The closure is non-reversible. To loosen the fastening, the cable tie must be cut using pliers, a cutter or scissors.
Cable ties as fasteners for cable bundles
Cable ties are used for cable organisation in event technology, stage construction and on construction sites. Since the cable ties are heat-resistant, they are also used in lighting and sound engineering. You can also purchase cable ties for TV productions and outdoor events where many cables have to be bundled into a cable harness. With the polyamide 6.6 fastening element, cables can be quickly and neatly tied together into entire cable harnesses.
Cable ties black for stage technology and construction sites
The black quick-release ties belong on every construction site. The cable tie is ideal for securely tying a bundle of individual cables together or for labelling them – perfect for flexible cable bundling. Since the cable ties in black are UV-resistant, they can withstand even long-term exposure to sunlight in outdoor areas without damage.
for cable organisation, but also as a mounting material,: a cable tie is the ideal hook for hanging tools, brooms and the like in a space-saving way. For heavy objects, it is recommended to use several cable ties.
Attaching advertising tarpaulins and banners with cable ties
In addition to cable organisation, cable ties are often used as fastening elements. Advertising tarpaulins and banners with eyelets can be tensioned without wrinkles and attached to bridge railings, poles and scaffolding using cable ties. Thanks to their robust material, the cable ties do not tear and hold advertising banners in place even in windy places. Molton and other materials with eyelets can also be attached directly. The ties meet the safety standards of the event industry.
: For light-weight fastenings such as cardboard signs, plants and other decorations, we recommend the cable ties 4.8 x 920 mm. This long, thin tie has a maximum bundle diameter of 278.6 mm and is ideal for fastenings that require long but not very stable cable ties.
