The long black cable tie measuring 540 mm x 7.8 mm (LxW) is a sturdy and durable plastic tie that, with its length of over 50 cm and a minimum holding force of over 54 kg, is ideal for fast, secure, and load-bearing bundling and fixing. The 50 cm cable tie accommodates a maximum bundle diameter of 140 mm – an ideal size for bundling heavy and thick cable runs with multiple power cables, heavy-duty leads, hoses, or multicore systems, and perfect for use on festival stages, in stadium rigging, and other outdoor structures. The long black cable tie is frequently used in event technology to secure medium-heavy loads, for example, to fix technical equipment in lighting and sound systems or, in stage rigging, to attach heavy fabrics, tarpaulins, mesh, and canvases to truss systems. It is also widely used on construction sites for securing cables to fences and scaffolding, as well as in industrial and electrical applications.

The high-quality black cable ties are made from weather-resistant polyamide 6.6 (nylon), offer up to 3 years of UV resistance, and feature a stable internal serration and high tensile strength of at least 540 N. The dimensionally stable, rigid material is abrasion-resistant and resistant to oils, greases, salt, and diluted acids. The cable ties over 50 cm are halogen-free, RoHS II compliant, and offer high temperature resistance from –40 °C to +85 °C. Additionally, the long black cable ties are classified as flame-retardant to UL94 V-2, making them suitable for applications with enhanced fire safety requirements – such as in event technology, trade fair and studio setups, or technical construction and building equipment.
