Rubber runners with ribs, 100 cm wide
Are you looking for an inexpensive anti-slip floor covering? Then a fine mesh rubber runner is the right choice for you. Whether as floor protection mats, anti-slip mats or cable protection mats – the fine mesh rubber mat in rolls measuring 1 m x 10 m x 3 mm (width x length x thickness) can be used in a wide range of areas. Do you need rubber runners by the metre? Cutting the material to size for any application is child's play: roll out the roll, cut the mats to size with a cutter, and your floor covering is ready in the desired size!
The material of the runners (SBR rubber) is a plastic that can withstand high loads. The elastic rubber runners (colour black) have excellent impact and tensile strength; they are finely grooved and highly abrasion-resistant. The 3 mm thick rubber is resistant to moisture and wet conditions, diluted alkalis, acids and alcohols. In addition, the rubber floor covering provides safe insulation against electricity and extreme temperatures and protects against slipping. Despite its high tear resistance in the transverse direction, it can be easily cut lengthwise along the ribs.
Rubber mats with 2 sides: ribs (fine grooves) and flat studs
The 3 mm thick rubber runners offer two different surface structures:
- Top side: Fine ribs (fine grooves) in a longitudinal direction offer optimum slip resistance
- Underside: Flat studs ( ) allow the mats to be laid on almost any floor. The rubber runner is even suitable for laying on smooth or wet floors, hard floors, artificial grass carpets or carpeted floors.

The rubber runners are exposed to high UV radiation and strong temperature fluctuations during permanent outdoor use. These influences can cause the material to become brittle over time.

Rubber runners by the metre – cutting made easy
Please note that the rubber runners have enormous tear resistance in the transverse direction. However, the mats can be torn quite easily along the fine grooves. Cutting with a cutter, knife or scissors is also very easy if you need the rubber mat in a different length or width and want to use it as stair mats, rubber tiles, door mats or similar.

Would you like to use the SBR rubber mats not only outdoors but also indoors? Please note that the rubber fine-grain runners have a strong smell at first and that this smell does not completely disappear even with thorough ventilation! In addition, the rubber mats are not suitable for use as workplace mats in areas where food is handled!
Rubber runners with studs bond as a slip-resistant floor covering
The flat nubs on the back already provide excellent adhesion to many surfaces. There are two ways to secure the 3 mm thick anti-slip mats made of SBR rubber: Stick the edges of the rubber mat to the floor with adhesive tape (side edge bonding) or stick the mat completely to the floor with double-sided tape. Especially if you lay the rubber mats end to end, you should stick them firmly to the floor to prevent tripping and slipping . For this purpose , we recommend GT 561 or GT 571 adhesive cloth tape, both available in black and other colours.
Cleaning rubber anti-slip mats: Info
SBR rubber runners are easy to clean with water and mild cleaning agents. Please note: The anti-slip effect of the rubber runners will only remain effective if the mats retain their ribbed structure and this is not impaired by dirt or abrasion.
After use, roll up the dry and clean mat and store it flat to prevent creases in the rubber runners. This will ensure that the floor protection mats remain usable for a long time.
