The 50 cm wide cable protection mat is an inexpensive accessory for covering cables at events and on construction sites. As an alternative to cable protectors, the narrow fine mesh rubber mat provides temporary cable protection and protects people from tripping hazards.
You can purchase the cable protection mat here in our shop as rolls with a length of 10 m, in a width of 0.5 m and a thickness of 3 mm (colour black). The heavy material, SBR rubber, is highly durable against mechanical and chemical stress. The mats with anti-slip effect on both sides are insulating and elastic as well as extremely adaptable to different shapes. Like all our rubber mats, this cable mat is equipped with a knobbed profile on the back, which prevents slipping even on smooth surfaces and ensures optimal flatness.

Cable protection mat 0.5 m x 10 m - protection for cables and hoses
Cable mats are a cost-effective and flexible accessory for events and construction sites and a quick-to-install alternative to cable protectors. The mats protect cables and wires from abrasion, moisture and damage, prevent tripping hazards caused by loose cables and provide safety for stage equipment, transport goods and more.
The cable protection mat is 50 cm wide (roll length 10 m) and made of highly durable 3 mm SBR rubber. It is elastic and adaptable to different shapes, and the robust material is highly abrasion-resistant and protects cables, hoses and pipes from mechanical and chemical stress. The top side of the cable mat, finely grooved lengthwise, is non-slip and offers good grip. The nubs on the underside offer excellent adhesion, even on smooth and damp surfaces. The heavy material also ensures that the mat lies flat.

Please note that rubber mats are exposed to high UV radiation and strong temperature fluctuations when used outdoors on a permanent basis. These influences can cause the material to become brittle over time.

Black cable protection mat for covering hoses and cables
With a width of 50 cm, this rubber mat is ideal as a cable protection mat. Exposed cables and wires can be covered with the mat and are thus protected from abrasion and damage. At the same time, this reduces the risk of tripping for pedestrians.

Note: The cable protection mat provides reliable insulation. However, the mats do not provide sufficient protection against voltage flashovers after electrical discharge!
Would you like to use the SBR rubber mats indoors? Please note that the cable protection mats have a strong rubber smell, which cannot be completely eliminated even after prolonged ventilation. The mats are also not suitable for use as workplace mats in areas where food is handled.
Cleaning and storing cable protection mats
The cable mat can be easily cleaned with water and mild cleaning agents. Harsh cleaning agents can make the rubber brittle.
The mat should be dry before storage to prevent mould growth. Store rubber mats flat in a rolled-up state.
