The SBR mat from our own brand GRIP Eventbasics is a low-odour rubber mat that is suitable not only for outdoor use but also for indoor use. You can buy the SBR mat as a whole roll with dimensions of 0.5 x 5 m and a thickness of 3 mm. The mat has a grooved top surface (longitudinal grooves) and a finely studded underside.
The reduced odour is due to the low proportion of recycled rubber, which usually causes the strong smell in rubber mats. This makes the solid rubber mat suitable as a cable protection mat, anti-slip floor covering, stair mat, floor protection and much more. For events, trade fairs, in hotels and for private use in the home and workshop. The 50 cm wide rubber runner can be easily cut to the desired length. The robust SBR rubber (hardness 65 +/- 5 Shore A) is insulating and extremely adaptable to different shapes. The fine studded profile on the back ensures that the mat lies flat and cannot slip away.

SBR mat – low-odour rubber runners
The SBR mat is a useful accessory that can be used on construction sites, at home and at almost any event. The big advantage of this solid rubber mat is that it is virtually odourless and can therefore be used indoors without any problems. The SBR mat is in no way inferior to the other rubber mats in our range in terms of quality and is also suitable for outdoor use.
We supply the rubber runners in 5 m lengths on rolls with a width of 50 cm ( thickness 3 mm). The SBR mathas 1 mm deep fine grooves running lengthwiseon the upper side . The fine flat studs on the underside ensure optimum slip resistance, even on damp surfaces. The particularly hard-wearing, adaptable material ( ) has a hardness of 65 +/- 5 Shore A and an elongation at break of approx. 200%. The mat made of styrene-butadiene rubber protects important equipment from mechanical and chemical stress.

Like all other rubber mats, the SBR mat is ideal for outdoor use. For indoor use, the strong, unpleasant smell of rubber is often a hindrance. However, this GRIP SBR mat is low-odour and therefore suitable for use in enclosed spaces, unlike other mats.

Cleaning and storing SBR rubber floor mats
Cleaning and storing rubber mats is very easy. Clean the mat with water and a mild detergent. Harsh cleaners can cause the rubber to become brittle.
If you wish to store the SBR mat, the rubber runners should be dry and free of s to prevent mould from forming. Store the roll in a horizontal position.
