This black matte cloth tape meets the highest demands of the events industry, media technology, and trade fair and stage construction. Its matte black, non-reflective surface prevents disruptive glare – ideal for use in combination with professional lighting and camera equipment, for example, for taping trusses, spotlights, stage structures, and more.
The black matte cloth tape delivers exceptionally high quality on the roll – the particularly fine, densely woven carrier material with a very high thread count, combined with 8% elasticity and a viscoelastic adhesive, ensures excellent conformability. The black cloth tape adheres smoothly to flat surfaces without wrinkles and bonds dust- and water-tight, even without high pressure, around edges, shaped parts, and textured substrates.
With a thickness of 0.30 mm, the extra-matte adhesive tape is also extremely tear-resistant, puncture-proof, and offers very high abrasion resistance under mechanical stress. The wide temperature range of -35°C to +80°C allows for use indoors and outdoors – as cable tape, as black matte cloth tape for assembly and repair, or as a waterproof adhesive tape for textiles, among other applications.
The extra-matte adhesive tape features a very gentle adhesive system. The natural rubber adhesive used is pressure-sensitive, non-corrosive, and bonds securely with high initial tack on a wide range of materials. The final bond strength of 3.5 N/cm on steel is deliberately moderate – ensuring secure adhesion and residue-free removal from sensitive surfaces. The matte cloth tape is cable-friendly and can be repositioned. For up to 3 weeks, the removable adhesive tape can be taken off without leaving residue.

Never touch the adhesive surfaces with your hand and apply high pressure when sticking. When removing, you should work slowly and not jerkily. The best way to remove the adhesive cloth tape is to hold it at a 90° angle.

Correct storage of adhesive tapes
Please store the gaffa tape in a dry place, protected from light , in the boxes provided until use . The optimum storage temperature is between +12°C and +25°C.
