The cable protector Black Line is a red and black floor-mounted channel designed for professional use and can be loaded with up to 4.7 tonnes per axle (axle load). The cable duct is 44.5 cm wide and 91 cm long. With 5 cable trays measuring 3.2 x 3.4 cm, the cable bridge helps to keep cables tidy.

The Black Line cable protector has particularly durable connecting elements that do not slip, even on heavily frequented paths. Another advantage for frequent assembly and disassembly of cable protectors is that the cover is firmly connected to the cable protector by means of a hinge. This prevents components from being lost during transport.

The cable protection bridge made of halogen-free polyurethane is resistant to oil, acid and petrol. It is characterised by a dielectric strength of 110 kV and provides a non-conductive barrier between people and cables. The overrun protection has a non-slip surface in accordance with DIN 51230. This means that the cable bridges are slip-resistant even when wet.

The Black Line BL5-28 cable protector is oil, acid and petrol resistant ( ) and complies with CE standards. With a dielectric strength of up to 110 kV, the Black Line cable protector is non-conductive in accordance with standards 2006/95/EC73/23/EEC and IEC 60529. All cable protectors comply with building material class B2 in accordance with DIN 4102.

Thanks to their high-quality material, halogen-free polyurethane, and clean workmanship, Black Line cable protectors are virtually maintenance-free. The Black Line cable protector complies with ISO 62 / ASTM D570 standards. This means that the overrun protection has absorbed less than one percent water after 24 hours in a water basin. This prevents moisture-related deformation (swelling, etc.) of the connecting parts and guarantees long-term precision fit of the cable protectors.

Marking of cable protectors

You have the option of customising the cable protector with lettering or your company logo! The overrun protection can be provided with any motif and font with a letter height of 5 mm or more. For an optimal typeface, we recommend a letter size of at least 10 mm. There is an additional charge of €60 per engraving plate for personalising the Black Line cable protector. Installation of the Black Line cable protector

The modular design of the Black Line cable protector enables safe and stable routing of cable protection ducts in any length. The high-quality and stable connecting elements simply need to be placed on top of each other. They lock into place automatically. To ensure that the connecting elements fit together seamlessly, make sure that there are no major uneven areas or height differences between the individual plastic cable protectors. If the cable protector is laid on a very smooth floor, rubber mats can be placed under the cable protector for stabilisation if necessary.

The silicone residues left over from production are best removed with a mixture of water and detergent. This ensures that the cable protectors are not slippery and offer ideal support.

Note on manufacturing

Silicone is used to remove the Black Line cable protector from the mould during production. As a result, slight silicone residues may remain on the exterior of the cable protectors. However, these will quickly disappear when the Black Line cable protector is used for the first time.
