Cable ties: material
Cable ties black are made of robust nylon – polyamide 6.6 and are therefore extremely resistant. Since the cable ties are UV-resistant, they can also be used outdoors for cable fastening over long periods without any problems. In addition, the assembly tape is weatherproof and resistant to lubricating greases, oils, alkalis and chlorate solvents. The fastener has only limited resistance to acids.
Note on optimal storage: Store the cable ties out of direct sunlight and other heat sources and in the original sealed packaging.

Cable ties: flame-retardant quality according to UL94 V-2
The black cable ties in our range meet the requirements of fire propagation class UL94 V-2. In the flammability tests for plastics, an open flame is applied to the test specimen for 10 seconds twice in the V test. The test evaluates the burning time and the burning parts that fall off. The V test is a vertical burning test; V2 means that the vertically clamped sample extinguishes within 30 seconds. The professional cable ties are RoHS II compliant – the EU Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
Are cable ties UV-stable?
Yes, black quick-release cable ties are UV-resistant and heat-resistant – ideal for outdoor fastening or bundling. Since cable ties are often used to bundle cables for stage technology, such as speaker cables, this material property is particularly important. In the event of a cable fire caused by overvoltage, the heat-resistant fastening element will extinguish by itself.
Disposable cable ties – accessories for events
Thanks to their interlocking design, disposable cable ties can be closed precisely and effortlessly: Simply insert the cable strap through the head and tighten to the desired length.
