The Spannfix, a loop-shaped expander rope with hooks, is an extremely practical accessory for quickly hanging, mounting and wrinkle-free tensioning of textiles such as molton, tarpaulins, advertising banners or other products related to trade fair construction and stage equipment. Simply pull the Spannfix through the eyelets, attach the hooks to the rubber cord, and you're done!

Spannfix – practical accessories at the best price
A bungee cord is an extremely practical product for the professional tensioning of tarpaulins and textiles, as well as the flexible installation of banners and the like, both indoors and outdoors. The Bungee Cord Expander Rope with Hook will win you over permanently: the plastic hook and the multi-strand rubber rope are extremely stable and can be reused over a long period of time.
Bungee cords are weather-resistant and UV-stable, and the elastic rubber cord is break-resistant up to an elongation of 110%. Each bungee cord can be loaded with up to 30 kg of weight.
The standard range of bungee cords is available in 18 and 24 cm lengths, in white, black and grey (only in 24 cm ). However, you can also purchase bungee cords in other sizes or colours on request.
To assemble a bungee cord: pull the rubber band through the eyelets, stretch, attach the hook, done!

Bungee cords can be quickly mounted:
- Simply thread the expander rope through the existing eyelets,
- attach the hook to the rubber band, and you're done.
- Of course, you can also use the bungee cord without grommets. To do this, simply stretch the Bungee Cord Tensioner around a pole or other object, attach the hook, and you're done.
With the above assembly, a single bungee cord can be loaded with up to 15 kg per piece. If you use two bungee cords (see picture), the load capacity increases to 30 kg.

Practical tips for use: Which bungee cords are suitable for which purpose?
The 24 cm long bungee cords are the classics among the bungee cords and are mainly used outdoors. They offer a little more leeway when attaching, better absorb wind peaks and offer the advantage that larger banners in particular can be tensioned tightly despite slight deviations in construction and banner. Irregularities in the construction, such as scaffolding elements (e.g. perforated discs on Layher scaffolding), can also be compensated for by using the 24 cm bungee cords.

The shorter 18 cm bungee cords, on the other hand, are perfect for connecting eyed materials (banners, etc.) to truss and Layher scaffolding with a diameter of 48 - 50 mm. 48 cm (= 2 inches) is the standard size of many metal tubes and pipes used in exhibition stand construction. With a simple winding, the banners fit snugly against the strut. The 18 cm bungee cords are particularly ideal for indoor use at trade fairs and similar events, where a banner is to be mounted precisely and without gaps in the construction. The short bungee cords also enable seamless tensioning without gaps for banners that are precisely tailored to the internal dimensions of a truss construction.

Bungee cords offer many advantages over rigid cable ties or lashing belts.
? Using non-elastic ropes, such as lashing belts or cable ties, increases the load on a single attachment point. This is not the case with elastic Bungee Cords! The load is not statically concentrated at a single point, but is flexible and distributed over several points. The advantage: less material wear, reduced impact, more safety, greater flexibility.
Incidentally, this also increases safety at the festival. The eyelets of advertising banners or tarpaulins can withstand stronger gusts of wind and are thus better protected from being torn out.
Instructions for use
When loosening the hooks, please make sure that the Spannfix is no longer under tension.
To prevent injuries, the maximum elasticity of the bungee cord should not be exceeded. If the load on the bungee cords is too strong, the PVC hook can break. Bungee cords are not sports equipment and should not be used by children without supervision.
