Alu-Dibond panels consist of a light PE layer between two white-painted aluminium outer layers. The aluminium layers provide the best stability and flexural strength, while the plastic layer reduces the overall weight. Alu composite panels are weather-resistant and UV-stable and are ideal for long-term or even multiple use.

The smooth, silk-matt surface allows for printing in the best, most colour-intensive quality. We print on one side of the aluminium composite plate; the back is white.

The Alu Dibond plateis available in two thicknesses, 2 mm or 3 mm, either straight cut or with an individual contour cut (on request)!

Alu Dibond plates have an absolutely smooth, silk-matt surface that is perfect for printing. We print alu dibond plates on one side using 6c digital printing with intense colours. Double-sided printing is also possible on request.

The maximum size for Alu Dibond, including printing and cutting, is 3.00 m x 1.45 m. The minimum size is 20 cm x 20 cm. We will be happy to quote for smaller formats on request.

Finishing of the Alu Dibond panels: straight or contour-cut

We cut Alu Dibond panels to size, rectangular or square, up to a maximum panel size of 3.00 m x 1.45 m (including printing and cutting). You can easily design panels with a straight cut online.

Alternatively, the panels can also be routed to shape, completely customised to your specifications – we would be happy to advise you in person on this!

We print larger formats on several plates, which you can seamlessly join together during assembly thanks to the clean cut edges.

Technical data on the material Alu Dibond

Alu Dibond panels consist of an inner layer of black polyethylene and two outer layers of white-painted aluminium. The plastic layer reduces the overall weight, while the two aluminium layers ensure high stability and flexural strength.

Are Alu Dibond panels flame retardant? No. Although Alu Dibond panels are not B1-certified, the aluminium layer makes the panels non-flammable.

• all plate thicknesses can be punched using conventional sheet metal punching machines
• the plates are suitable for processing with vertical panel saws as well as circular and jigsaw
• Suitable for CNC milling (please note: to avoid pressure marks when clamping, insert wooden or plastic spacers)
• suitable for standard plastic/metal drills

We deliver Alu Dibond plates with edge protection, so the corners are well protected from breakage.

Alu Dibond signs and panels are robust and suitable for long-term use. If you want to store the panels, make sure that they are dry and also protected from edge breakage and scratches during storage.
