Assembly tape: (ultra) strong adhesive tapes for secure fastening
Assembly tape is a power adhesive tape with particularly high adhesive strength. Assembly tape refers to single-sided or double-sided adhesive tapes that are characterised by particularly strong adhesives. Assembly adhesive tape is used for quick and secure fastening without drilling or screws.
You can buy the following assembly tapes from allbuyone:

What is assembly tape?
Assembly tape does not refer to a specific adhesive tape, but rather a type of adhesive tape. Assembly tape can be double-sided adhesive tape or single-sided adhesive cloth tape. All assembly tapes have strong adhesives and, as a result, particularly high adhesive strength.
Ultra-strong adhesives explained simply
When is an assembly tape super strong? The adhesive properties of adhesive tape can generally be divided into two adhesive strengths:
- Initial adhesion (initial adhesive strength, tack, adhesion)
- Final adhesive strength (long-term adhesive strength, cohesion)
If a power assembly tape has high initial adhesion, the adhesive's holding force is particularly high when bonding ( ). High initial adhesion makes assembly much easier. Initial adhesion depends on the adhesive itself and the nature of the substrate. Rough surfaces (e.g. masonry and plaster on buildings) are more difficult to bond to than smooth surfaces such as metal, tiles, mirrors and glass. To ensure that the power tape also has strong long-term adhesion, the adhesive must have good internal strength. The strength determines the holding force (shear strength) of the assembly tape when force is applied, i.e. its ability not to slip. The holding force, in turn, depends on external factors such as UV radiation and weather conditions. Applying strong pressure when bonding the assembly adhesive tape can significantly increase the holding force.
Our product range: Single-sided and double-sided adhesive assembly tapes
At allbuyone, you can obtain power adhesive tapes in various designs.
Double-sided assembly tape
You can purchase double-sided adhesive assembly tapes from allbuyone in various designs. As double-sided cloth tape with sides of varying adhesive strength (strong/very strong) and as double-sided adhesive film tape. Each double-sided assembly tape has very good adhesive properties and ensures secure fastening on almost any surface.
Transparent assembly tape allows for virtually invisible mounting, while the cloth tapes are particularly tear-resistant.
In the event industry, double-sided assembly tape has proven particularly useful for attaching carpets, wall coverings and curtains.
Cloth tape: single-sided mounting adhesive tape
An alternative to double-sided adhesive tape are the cloth tapes from Kip and GRIP Eventbasics. These adhesive tapes also have very high adhesive strength and are ideal for mounting without drilling or screws. The cloth tapes are particularly flexible and adaptable to different shapes and are also suitable for bonding to uneven and rough surfaces. The tapes have some outstanding technical properties: Once applied, the assembly tape is waterproof, strongly adhesive and yet removable without leaving any residue (within a certain period of time).
Single-sided adhesive assembly tape is available in black, white, grey and bright colours in various sizes.
Attaching assembly tape
Before applying assembly tape, the surface should be free of dust and grease. Depending on the surface, it can be cleaned with cleaning agents, alcohol or petrol. When bonding, it is important to apply high pressure so that the adhesives bond well with the surface. This is the only way to ensure that the adhesive tape will have a high holding power later on.
Note on the use of adhesive tapes outdoors
When using the tape outdoors, bear in mind that temperatures can exceed 80°C in summer. Not all assembly tapes are suitable for such temperatures; the shear strength decreases and the adhesive tape slips off. Even at temperatures below 0°C, some adhesives become brittle and fragile. If the assembly adhesive tape is to be used not only indoors but also outdoors, it is therefore essential to ensure that the temperature range is suitable.
