The GT 561 adhesive cloth tape is an inexpensive adhesive tape in above-average standard quality and is suitable for universal use. This gaffa tape is characterised by very good abrasion resistance ( thickness 0.25 mm) and very high tear resistance . It adheres with high adhesive strength (adhesive strength on steel 4 N/cm) and high immediate adhesion to almost any surface. The all-round cloth tape with a shiny, waterproof laminated surface can be exposed to the strongest loads in a high temperature range from -35°C to +80°C indoors and outdoors.
As a robust gaffa tape, it is versatile and impresses during processing with good tear properties (crosswise and lengthwise) and very good adaptability to shapes; the tape lies wrinkle-free on smooth adhesive surfaces. The tape is used in stage and exhibition construction, primarily for fastening, repairing, bundling, sealing and closing, etc. The longer the adhesive tape sticks, the stronger the adhesive strength of the non-corrosive, non-aggressive adhesive develops. We recommend this age-resistant adhesive cloth tape for permanent bonding or for sticking to non-sensitive surfaces. The GT 561 adhesive tape with fabric backing is our affordable, universally applicable standard gaffa tape for the event industry and exhibition stand construction. The durable, waterproof gaffa tape with high adhesive strength impresses with its very high form-fitting ability and high abrasion resistance; it adheres to almost all smooth and rough surfaces, both indoors and outdoors. Notes on Duct Tape GT 561: We always recommend test applications
You can be sure of a durable bond with Duct Tape GT 561 if you stick to the recommended application temperature. This is ideally between +10°C and +45°C. The fabric adhesive tape is highly adhesive and can be removed without leaving any residue for up to 24 hours. Care should always be taken when bonding to sensitive surfaces, such as natural stone or untreated wood. Damage, such as discolouration, could occur after removing the adhesive tape.
therefore recommend that you always carry out test applications on the surfaces you intend to bond.

Working with cloth tape
Preparation:
Different duct tapes have different processing instructions that must be followed.
In particular, attention should be paid to the material properties of the substrate. GT 561 even adheres to dirty surfaces. However, you will get the best adhesion results on surfaces that are free of dust and water.
like bacon, but isn't! Grip GT 561 is coated with a natural rubber adhesive and may have a slight smoky odour due to the production process. The smoking process removes moisture from the raw material, making it less susceptible to condensation and more stable when exposed to temperature fluctuations.
Bonding:
Be careful not to touch the adhesive surfaces of the duct tape with your fingers. After application, press the adhesive cloth tape on firmly – this increases the adhesive force and ensures an optimal result. The GT 561 has a high initial tack.
Removing adhesive tape:
Remove duct tape slowly and smoothly at a 90° angle. Please note the temperature range of the tape and never leave stuck tapes stuck longer than necessary. The GT 561 duct tape can be removed without leaving residue for up to 24 hours.
