This high-strength assembly tape and repair adhesive tape combines high tear resistance (breaking load 35 N/cm) with abrasion resistance, very high initial tack, and strong final adhesive strength (4.0 N/cm on steel). The aggressive, non-corrosive adhesive ensures secure and long-lasting bonding within a temperature range of -35 °C to +80 °C. Perfect for durable bonds indoors and outdoors. The tape thickness of 0.25 mm, combined with the glossy waterproof PE coating, gives the black duct tape exceptional resistance to mechanical stress and weathering – even in continuous use, it remains hard-wearing and ageing-resistant, forming stable bonds with the substrate that are protected against moisture, splashing water, rain, and UV exposure.
This duct tape is designed as a versatile waterproof adhesive tape for long-term use. It can be removed with minimal residue for up to 24 hours and should be applied to non-sensitive surfaces, as it creates a permanent bond with the substrate and may cause damage when removed, such as from painted surfaces.
Processing the duct tape is time-saving and convenient. The affordable GT 561 cloth tape is extremely versatile. With a very high tear resistance and conformability, it is particularly suitable for bonding to irregular surfaces. It can be used for repairs, quick assembly and waterproof and dustproof sealing in no time at all. The tape lies wrinkle-free on smooth surfaces. The high adhesive strength over a wide temperature range from -35°C to +80°C makes it an all-round tape for any bonding application indoors and outdoors .

Instructions for correct application
Please note: To ensure durable bonding, you should adhere to the recommended application temperature of +10°C to +45°C. The adhesive strength of this adhesive tape increases over time after bonding. This Gaffa Tape can therefore be removed without leaving residue for up to 24 hours. You should always be careful when gluing to sensitive surfaces (e.g. natural stone or untreated wood). After removing the adhesive tape, damage, such as discolouration, could occur to these surfaces.
