GT Antirutsch is an inexpensive anti-slip band from our own brand GRIP Eventbasics. The tape is self-adhesive and features a robust, grained surface that offers the best slip resistance. The black and yellow colour also makes the tape highly visible as warning tape. The anti-slip tape is applied to walking surfaces, ramps, ladders and steps, where it increases safety as marking tape and anti-slip strips.
Thanks to its very strong acrylate adhesive, the anti-slip tape adheres to many floors with very high adhesive strength (adhesive strength on steel 9.8 N/cm), which increases over time. It is suitable for permanent bonding and , when applied to a dry, clean surface, provides slip resistance on smooth, wet and oily floors indoors and outdoors. The anti-slip tape is also easy to work with and can be torn by hand. The adhesive tape sticks to a protective paper (liner), from which it can be easily removed.

Anti-slip band, black and yellow, for double safety
The anti-slip tape offers excellent value for money. As a self-adhesive anti-slip tape, it improves slip resistance on smooth floors that are slippery, damp or oily, thus preventing slip accidents. It can be used on stair treads, ladder rungs, ramps, etc. The anti-slip strips in yellow and black offer additional safety and also act as warning markings.

Self-adhesive anti-slip tape – versatile
The anti-slip tape is malleable and adaptable, and adheres even to uneven surfaces. The anti-slip warning tape is used for marking hazardous areas. The slip-resistant floor marking tape is suitable for professional indoor and outdoor use. With its yellow and black colour, the anti-slip tape is ideal for marking permanent hazard areas and, thanks to its excellent adhesive properties, is also suitable for permanent bonding.
The anti-slip tape can be easily torn by hand, lengthwise and crosswise. It can also be easily removed from the paper liner.
Important note: The anti-slip tape provides slip protection on many smooth, steep surfaces, even on oily, damp surfaces. However, the surface must be free of grease, clean and dry before application. The tape is not suitable for coarse, uneven surfaces.
Tips for applying anti-slip adhesive tapes
- Before applying the anti-slip adhesive tape, the surface must be free of dust and dirt and dry.
- Remove the backing paper and do not touch the adhesive surface with your hands.
- When sticking to stairs or other edges, please maintain a distance of approx. 15 mm from the front edge. This will prevent creases that would damage the grain.
- After applying GT Antirutsch, press the tape firmly into place using a rubber mallet or hand roller.
Please note: Damaged or creased tapes will wear more quickly, reducing the anti-slip effect.
Take care when applying anti-slip tape to natural wood, concrete and natural stone. To avoid damage to the adhesive, always prime difficult surfaces accordingly. The strong adhesive acrylate could discolour or damage the substrate.
