PVC dance carpet – mobile dance floor for events
Mobile dance floors have a wide range of uses: dance carpets serve as mobile dance floor coverings at events, as stage coverings for concerts, shows and theatre, and as dance floors for stages, for example for ballet, jazz, hip hop or standard dance performances. Dance carpets can also be laid in no time at all as flame-retardant floor coverings for trade fairs, exhibitions and catwalks. In film and photo studios, matt dance carpets are popular as floor and wall coverings, guaranteeing reflection-free shots and professional blue and greenscreen technology.
Safe floors: All PVC dance carpets are flame retardant. The floor coverings are B1 certified according to DIN 4102 and classified according to EN 13501-1 Cfl-s1. They therefore meet the high fire safety requirements for public events, theatres and exhibition halls.

Accessories: We stock GT 802 PVC tape in 7 colours and transparent for bonding the dance carpet. Double-sided adhesive tapes for fixing the dance carpets to the floor are available from us in many designs. Standard tapes and very high-quality adhesive tape – removable without leaving any residue, even from sensitive floor coverings.
Dance floor BASIC – a high-quality all-rounder among mobile dance carpets
The dance carpet made of high-quality PVC material and top quality at an affordable price. It can be laid on one side for temporary use. A silk-matt dance floor that hardly reflects and has a smooth surface. A mineral fleece reinforcement incorporated in the centre makes the dance floor durable and, in combination with its weight of approx. 1.35 kg/m², ensures high dimensional stability and optimum flatness. The dance carpet has a thin foam backing layer that provides slight cushioning when dancing. The dance carpet lies flat on almost any surface and is extremely easy and quick to lay.
The BASIC PVC dance carpet is available as a roll (, 200 cm x 25 m) in black.
Dance floor CLASSIC – highest quality in 16 colours
The Classic dance carpet is a temporary dance floor covering made from the best materials in high quality that can be laid on one side. The robust dance carpet is hard-wearing and has a slightly embossed surface for more grip. Its surface is matt and non-reflective. The PVC floor is reinforced with a layer of fibreglass. The foam backing layer has a slightly cushioning effect for added comfort. With a weight of approx. 1.32 kg/m², the dance carpet lies flat on the floor and turns almost any surface into a professional dance floor. Installation is extremely easy and time-saving.
You can purchase the CLASSIC PVC dance carpet as a roll (200 cm x 25 m) or cut to size by the metre, starting at 5 running metres. Design your event individually and choose your dance carpet from a total of 16 colours in addition to white, black and grey .
Marley Floor – double-sided dance floor
The Marley Floor dance carpet is a vinyl floor that can be danced on both sides and laid in two different colours. Marley Floor has a particularly smooth surface that is also matt and non-reflective. With a weight of approx. 1.6 kg/m², this dance carpet lies particularly well. You can buy the Marley Floor dance floor as a 30-metre roll, either 160 cm or 200 cm wide, in the following colour combinations:
- black/white
- black/grey
- bluescreen / greenscreen (blue / green)
- Other colours available on request
Tip for film and photo studios: Dance carpets in greenscreen / bluescreen colours are particularly suitable for TV, film and photography using the chromakey process (image isolation process) thanks to their matt surface.
Dance carpets are inexpensive, high-quality and quick to lay. On almost any surface and even over a sprung floor
- Dance, dance, dance: dance carpets are ideal for dancing at temporary events. The dance floor coverings offer pleasant dancing and walking properties. In addition, the material (PVC) is robust and easy to clean.
- The floor covering meets high standards in terms of technology, lighting and acoustics: Mobile dance carpets are matt and non-reflective. This property is valued by stage technicians, but also in film and photo studios.
- Dance floors are flame retardant: The floors are classified according to DIN 4102 B1 and EN 13501 Cfl-s1. They therefore comply with fire safety requirements for events, trade fairs and public facilities.
- Compared to expensive dance floors, dance carpets are particularly time-saving and inexpensive to install, even over sprung floors. These dance floors lie flat and offer good stability on different surfaces.
Please note: Sharp-edged objects or particularly hard materials that exert high point loads can damage the dance floor surface. Scratches can be caused by dancers' shoes, for example, but also by equipment that is pulled across the stage without castors. All dance floors in our range are high-quality, temporary dance floor coverings for events. The dance floors are not designed for permanent installation in studios or long-term use.
Accessories for installation – adhesive tape, double-sided tape
Double-sided tape with its strong adhesive properties is also particularly suitable for temporary installation of the dance carpet – double-sided tape is available in various designs. If the dance floor is laid edge to edge, the edges can be easily fixed with PVC tape. We recommend our highly elastic GT 802, either transparent or in a colour to match the dance floor. Our matt fabric adhesive tapes from our GT pro range also offer excellent properties, not only for colourful edge bonding.
