Whether for dancing on stages at events or for use at trade fairs, shows, catwalks, showrooms or concerts, this product is flame-retardant and certified for fire safety in accordance with DIN 4102 B1 and EN 13501-1 Cfl-s1, making it extremely versatile.

The dance floor is hard-wearing with good abrasion resistance, and its very smooth, silky matt surface is suitable for a wide range of different dance styles. A reinforcing glass fibre insert makes the PVC floor dimensionally stable and robust. With a weight of ± 1.35 kg/m² and a thickness of 2 mm, the PVC dance floor lies flat on the floor. The back of the dance floor is made of a thin, elastic and slightly cushioning foam layer. The PVC dance floor roll weighs ± 67.5 kg.

The dance carpet can be laid directly from the roll: unroll, stick down the edges with adhesive tape – no annoying waves or bumps. Laying PVC dance floor – roll out the dance carpet, fix it in place and the dance floor is ready!

Laying mobile dance floors is incredibly easy. Roll out on a sprung floor or parquet, lay out so that the edges are flush and stick down the sides. Done! To ensure that the dance floor remains elastic at the sides, we recommend a shape-adaptable and stretchable PVC adhesive tape, which we stock in black and transparent. Dance floor tapes offer good abrasion resistance, are ultra-matt and waterproof when stuck down. Colourful dance floors can also be fixed with coloured adhesive tape. In addition, temporary installation on double-sided tape is possible.

Are PVC dance floors suitable for dance studios or for dancers wearing shoes with soles that get wet?

The PVC dance carpets that you order from allbuyone are high-quality dance floor coverings for temporary use. Especially when the PVC floor is laid over a wooden dance floor or sprung floor, such floors provide very good friction properties for dancers of various dance styles. Dance carpets have a high mechanical load capacity, but it should be noted that PVC event dance floors are not suitable for permanent installation or long-term use in dance studios.

Sharp objects or particularly hard materials that exert high point loads and great pressure on the floors will damage the dance floor surface and may leave dents or scratches due to the foam backing. Such dance floors are often damaged by certain types of dance, such as tap dancing, flamenco or similar dances with padded/reinforced shoes. As with other PVC floor coverings, soft rubber soles can leave unsightly marks on the floor. Caution! Dance floor coverings become slippery when wet.

Delivery & transport PVC dance floors

The PVC dance floor rolls are heavy, have sensitive edges and are difficult to transport. Therefore, please ensure that the items arrive undamaged when sent by post. Complaints due to faulty transport can only be accepted if any defects are documented directly upon receipt of the goods. Please only sign the delivery note if the products are delivered undamaged! The following applies to delivery and use: The rolls should never be tipped over loading edges or placed at an angle on the edges. Individual rolls are best transported upright using a sack truck. Horizontal transport by hand should be carried out by two people or using a forklift truck and spike.

Storage & cleaning of PVC dance flooring

PVC floors should be wiped regularly with a mop and pH-neutral cleaning agent. Stains can be treated with a coconut brush. Light scratch marks can be treated with a small amount of cleaning solvent. Caution! Please test on an inconspicuous area first! Floor mats at the edge of the dance floor help to prevent dust accumulation.

Important for storage: The PVC flooring should be rolled back onto the roll core without creases. The rolls should then be stored individually in a horizontal position. The optimum storage temperature is between +15° and +35° C. Store the dance flooring in a dry place away from heat, UV radiation, moisture, steam, vapour and solvents.
