Thanks to these properties, GT 802 is ideal in the events industry as dance floor tape for edge and border bonding of Marley Floor and other dance floors. In industry and trade, this soft PVC tape is used for a wide range of other applications and is highly valued for its quality. In bright colours, the tape is ideal as floor marking tape.
The PVC tape is coated with a high-quality, pressure-sensitive natural rubber adhesive (non-corrosive), which offers medium initial tack and medium adhesion (adhesion to steel: 2.0 N/cm). This allows for brief repositioning during application. The tape can be removed residue-free from smooth surfaces for approximately 48 hours.

PVC tape GT 802: extremely stretchable adhesive tape
The PVC tape GT 802 is an affordable dance floor tape from our own brand GRIP. The adhesive tape is extremely stretchy and highly adaptable to different shapes, making it ideal for flexible side bonding of Marley floors and other dance floors. Despite its low tape thickness of only 0.12 mm, the tape is robust, abrasion-resistant and very tear-resistant. The elastic PVC tape is available in black, white and transparent to match different-coloured dance floors. The tape is ideal as a floor marking tape in the 5 bright colours. The matt surface ensures reflection-free illumination, making it ideal for use on stages, in theatres and for film and photo shoots.

PVC tape – matt adhesive tape for dance floor bonding
The tape has a total thickness of only 0.12 mm. This minimises the risk of tripping when laying or gluing the edges of dance floors. After gluing, the PVC tape is waterproof. It is flexible and elastic and perfectly absorbs movements. The good form-fitting ability of the adhesive tapes is also advantageous in other areas (bundling cables, gluing to irregular surfaces, etc.).
Thanks to its matt, non-reflective surface, the GT 802 is perfect for use on theatre or concert stages, as well as for film and photo shoots: when repairing or attaching molton, backdrops, etc., the PVC tape simply absorbs incoming spotlight.
The tape]unrolls quietly but cannot be torn by hand. A cutter or scissors can be used to make precise cuts.
Information on how to use the adhesive tapes
The surfaces to be taped should be dust-free. Please also note the optimal application temperature of approx. +12°C to +25°C. Please do not touch the adhesive surfaces with your fingers.

Removing PVC tape – note
Remove the tape slowly and evenly from the surface and do not leave it stuck for longer than necessary. Thanks to the high-quality, soft adhesive made of natural rubber, the tape can be removed without leaving any residue for approx. 48 hours, according to the manufacturer. Experience has shown that the tape can usually be removed for much longer.
Storage of products
Please store the PVC tape in its packaging at a temperature between +12°C and +25°C and for no longer than 12 months. To preserve the colours and adhesive properties of the adhesive tapes for as long as possible, do not expose them to UV radiation.
