PVC dance floor is a low-priced yet high-quality floor. PVC is suitable as a temporary dance floor, for example for dance or acrobatics on stages, as well as a matt, non-reflective floor for catwalks, exhibition halls and much more. The dance floor is flame retardant and certified according to DIN 4102 B1 and EN 13501-1 Cfl-s1. It can be laid indoors and outdoors. Temporary floor coverings for events should not only be flame retardant and practical to lay, the floor should also have a corresponding weight for a good smooth surface and must not reflect on stages or during film and photo shoots. With the standard PVC dance floor by the metre, you are well advised with regard to these aspects.

Alternative "Marley Floor" – a dance floor you can dance on from both sides

Our range includes another dance floor, the Marley Floor, which is also made of PVC. This dance floor covering is slightly thinner (1.2 mm) and differs from the standard PVC dance floor in three essential points:

1. very smooth surface
2. no sound-absorbing foam layer
3. can be laid on both sides, has two sides in different colours (several colour combinations possible)

PVC dance floor – a high-quality, mobile dance floor

The floor is highly dimensionally stable and resistant to chemical and mechanical influences. The top layer is made of PVC, is lightly structured and non-slip , while the back is made of a thin, elastic foam carrier layer.

objects or particularly hard materials that exert a high point load can cause damage to the dance floor surface (e.g. scratches). The PVC dance floor is therefore not suitable for tap dancing and similar dance styles that use tap-dancing or reinforced shoes. Similarly, rubber soles can leave unsightly marks on the floor. When wet, the dance floor can become slippery.

Practical: easy installation of the floor coverings without a lot of accessories

Whether you buy it by the metre or by the roll, a mobile dance floor is easy to lay. Just roll out the dance floor, lay it end to end, stick it down and you're done! We recommend the following accessories:

• PVC dance floor adhesive tape GT 802 in black, white, transparent - an especially elastic, stretchable adhesive tape for taping down the sides of the dance floor
• various gaffa tapes in different colours for taping the edges

Maintaining and storing dance floors

With proper care and storage, a dance floor can be reused to a limited extent. Store the dance floor in a clean and dry place. Be absolutely sure never to bend the dance carpet during transport. It is recommended to store it on the roll in a lying position.
