PE plastic film: inexpensive cover foil for event materials
The foil is made of LDPE ( ) and is highly resistant to temperature and weathering. With a thickness of 60 my (grey) or 100 my (black, transparent), it is often used to cover sensitive event or construction site accessories in the rain. With the black polyethylene foil, you can pack products in a light- and opaque manner, while the transparent plastic foil allows labels, lettering and barcodes on the case or cardboard box to remain clearly visible. The grey PE foil made of recyclable PE plastic with regenerated material is also used as construction foil.
PE foil in flame-retardant B1 quality according to DIN 4102
We stock flame-retardant PE foils that are certified to DIN 4102 B1 ( ) especially for the demanding requirements of the event industry. Strict fire safety regulations apply at public events, and B1 transparent foils are approved for use at such events. Thanks to their B1 certification, they are primarily used as cover foils at indoor events where strict fire safety regulations must be observed. B1 transparent foils are laid over event and dance floors, for example, to prevent them from getting dirty before the start of the event. You will also find PE foils in our shop for blackout purposes and for covering light installations.
There are three foils in different colours to choose from:
- Plastic foli B1 60 my - thin, white translucent or transparent plastic foli
- Plastic foil B1 120 my - deep black (opaque) foil for blackouts or white flat foil
- Plastic foil B1 200 my - robust foil in white (translucent) for covers, particularly tear-resistant
Stretch film black and transparent for highly elastic packaging
Stretch film with a thickness of 23 my is extremely stretchable and therefore ideal for holding goods firmly together on a pallet or in shipping cartons. The plastic film adheres to itself and can be rolled off the roll by hand. The practical stretch film dispenser, which is also available in the shop, is a suitable accessory.
Plastic film for packaging: air-cushion film
When shipping sensitive goods , 60 my air-cushion film ( ) is indispensable: the air-filled bubbles ensure that your event accessories survive transport or shipping unscathed. Transparent air-cushion film is the ideal solution for protecting expensive equipment from scratches, shocks or breakage.
Lacquer foil - optionally B1: Glossy decoration for tables and more
PVC lacquer foil has a glossy surface and is therefore popular as a coloured decorative foil – for events, catering and gastronomy. Unlike paper tablecloths, lacquer table foil is waterproof and stains can be easily wiped off. The robust, scratch-resistant lacquer foil with a thickness of 180 my is available in 8 colours and in B1 flame-retardant black, white and red.

*Notes on UV stability: Plastic foli is UV-resistant for a limited period of time. However, PE plastic becomes brittle after some time due to UV radiation. If the product is exposed to sunlight for a long period of time, it may lose its strength and tear.
The 4 m wide plastic films are folded to 1 m on the roll.
The recycling code for LDPE plastic is 4; polyvinyl chloride has the code number 3.
Bonding and fastening plastic film - accessories
To securely fasten plastic film as rolls or cut-to-size sheets, you can use adhesive tape or thumbtacks (especially for lacquer foil) as well as tacker clips. You will find the right products – various adhesive tapes and tackers – in our shop.
