Whether used as construction foil, cover foil or protective foil for event supplies, the transparent PE foil from our own brand GRIP Eventbasics is a practical accessory and offers a wide range of applications. The foil in 4 m width and 50 m length is folded four times on a 1 m wide roll. The transparent polyethylene LD foil in a thickness of approx. 100 my offers protection against moisture and rain and impresses with its good tear resistance and stability combined with good adaptability to different shapes. This product is also available in black.
In addition to transparent PE foil, we offer a wide range of other foils, including flame-retardant B1 foils (rolls in thicknesses of 60, 120, 200 my) in black and translucent white, inexpensive construction foils with regenerated material, as well as stretch foils, bubble wrap and lacquer foils made of PVC. You can buy PE foil transparent in our shop at a good price, with fast shipping of our products within 1-2 working days.

Whether for packaging, covering or protecting floor coverings during installation, the high-quality transparent PE foil with a thickness of approx. 100 my offers good tear resistance and is ideal as an accessory for various applications in event supplies. The foil is elastic and flexible and prevents water and moisture from penetrating .
You can buy the LD PE foil transparent here in rolls of 50 running metres and 4 m wide. The foil is folded four times on 1 m wide rolls.
e transparent film with a thickness of 100 my is a versatile accessory and offers the following impressive features:
LD PE foils have high temperature resistance and resistance to many chemical influences. Polyethylene only softens at extreme heat. Its melting point is approx. 110°C. The material is sensitive to extreme sub-zero temperatures and prolonged UV radiation. Under these influences, LD PE foils can become brittle and fragile.
You can order various LD PE foils in our shop . We offer transparent, translucent and black colours. For use at public events, flame-retardant PE foils with 60, 120 and 200 my in black and translucent are also available. If the colour is not important, we also offer inexpensive construction foils with regenerated material in grey in a thickness of 90 my.
In our online shop, you can also order stretch film in transparent and black, air-cushion film or colourful lacquer foils made of PVC as well as cover foils made of HDPE fabric. Are you looking for other colours or specific thicknesses? Do you need a flat foil that is not folded? Special construction foils or pond foils with 400 or 500 my?
We can supply any other type of film on request. Please contact us personally and let our team provide you with expert advice.
Films are a versatile accessory for event supplies. Whether used as packaging film, construction foil, protective film or cover foil – LDPE plastic has a few significant differences compared to HDPE. LDPE is low-density polyethylene, or in other words, a film with low density and highly branched polymer chains. This makes LDPE foils particularly flexible, adaptable, tear-resistant and elastic. LDPE is generally more stretchable and more flexible than HDPE. The best example of this is a thin stretch film with a foil thickness of around 20 my. HDPE foils, on the other hand, such as tarpaulins, are rather stiff or rigid in the same foil thickness and have a higher tensile strength. The plastic can also be recognised immediately by touch: HDPE rustles when touched, while LDPE is almost silent when processed.
There is also a clear difference between the two materials in terms of colour: only LDPE foils are transparent, but they can also be dyed in bright colours. High-density polyethylene is not available in a transparent colour; these foils are always slightly cloudy, which is referred to as translucent or opaque (opaque).
LDPE foils can be disposed of at any public recycling centre or in the plastic bin for proper disposal. The recycling code for LDPE is PE-LD 04.
