PE foil 90 my

The grey PE foil is an inexpensive construction foil for construction sites, DIY enthusiasts and the event sector. The foil with a thickness of 90 my consists of polyethylene with regenerate, is slightly translucent and, with a size of 4 x 50 m, is ideal for covering.

PE foil 100 my

This PE foil is the classic cover foil for trade fairs, events, construction sites and at home. The weather-resistant, waterproof foil with 100 µ is opaque and available in black or transparent. The foil made of 100% polyethylene is available as a roll with 4 x 50 m.

B1 PE foil 60 my

This foil is an inexpensive, flame-retardant protective and cover foil. The foil has a thickness of 60 my, is white translucent and slightly transparent. In addition, the foil is translucent, and is therefore mainly used as a foil for backlighting and light installations as well as an inexpensive indoor cover foil. Alternatively, the B1 PE foil 60 my is also available in transparent colour. In this colour, the foil is ideal for decorative purposes (e.g. theatre) and for transparent covering of equipment (e.g. monitors).

B1 PE foil 120 my

This foil is available in two versions: deep black and completely opaque (opaque) or in white (slightly translucent). It is made of PE and has a thickness of 120 my. The foil is B1-certified, robust and tear-resistant. In black, the opaque foil is ideal for darkening windows and as an opaque cover foil. In white, the B1 transparent is a high-quality and stable cover foil. The foil is available as a roll measuring 4 x 25 m.

B1 PE foil 200 my

This is a particularly high-quality, stable PE foil with a thickness of 200 µ. The foil is white and made of 100% PE. Important for the event sector: The foil is flame retardant ( ) and therefore meets the strict safety requirements for events and trade fairs. The foil is available as a whole roll measuring 4 x 25 m ( ).

Elastic cover foil for stage and event equipment

Valuable stage technology, cases and other stage equipment can be protected cost-effectively against damage from rain, moisture and any chemicals that may come into contact with them using PE foil as a cover foil. In event supplies, PE foils are mainly used in black for repair work on stages and as cover foils for substrates, freshly laid floors and technical equipment. This means that rain or moisture cannot affect the longevity of your event equipment. As an underlay for floor coverings, the B1-certified PE foil reliably keeps moisture out, ensuring longer durability and stability of the floor covering in event accessories.

Construction foil and packaging film

PE foils are generally known as construction foils and cover foils. In event supplies, however, PE foil is also popular as a reliable, waterproof packaging film.

Effective vapour barrier and cover foil on construction sites

PE foils have become indispensable for construction sites. As a so-called vapour barrier, the plastic foli helps to protect buildings and residential houses from damage caused by moisture formation in their insulation layer. The water-repellent PE foil allows only part of the moisture that forms to reach the building materials, thus preventing mould growth, moisture formation or a reduction in the insulating effect. PE foil is also laid between screed and floor coverings (parquet, laminate flooring, etc.) to prevent moisture from penetrating during house construction and to provide additional insulation for the floor. PE foil offers the advantage that it is resistant to a wide range of influences (water, chemicals, cold, etc.) and is also environmentally friendly.

Foil for darkening and backlighting

Depending on the colour, the film can also be used for darkening (window film) or for covering objects for light installations. The thin 60 my PE foil from our range is particularly suitable for backlighting. The film is white translucent, slightly transparent and translucent, making it perfect for backlighting and covering. For darkening, we recommend the opaque foil with 120 my; the deep black foil is opaque and completely light- and view-proof. Ideal for darkening windows in museums, theatres, etc.

Material resistance of PE foil

PE foils made of LDPE plastic (low-density polyethylene) offer the advantage of being resistant to acids, alcohols, oils and bases. This means that PE foil can be used as a water-resistant cover foil for event supplies and festival accessories. PE foil can be used to reliably protect cases, stage equipment and other stage supplies from rain and moisture. PE foil also protects stage floors and event sites from moisture. Thanks to the good elasticity and tear resistance of the cover foil, it can also be used on uneven floors, e.g. as festival accessories, and is resistant to mechanical stress from visitors or workers for a long time. In addition, PE foils are free of plasticisers – plastic foils do not become brittle due to the loss of plasticisers, e.g. during long storage periods.

Environmental compatibility of PE foils

Despite its high resistance to weather, water and chemicals, the cover foil is surprisingly environmentally friendly. Even the short manufacturing process for PE foil keeps energy consumption within limits. For example, PE foil actually has a better energy balance than paper in terms of manufacturing!

By not using plasticisers, PE foil is groundwater-neutral and recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly plastic foli. When PE foil is incinerated during the recycling process, no harmful combustion products are produced. Polyethylene belongs to the so-called thermoplastics, which means that the material can be melted down any number of times at a temperature that does not exceed a certain limit and reshaped into PE foil (or other products).

Fastening the PE foil

You can easily attach the plastic foil to floors, walls, etc. as a cover foil or protective foil for floor coverings using the following accessories:
