Adhesive tapes made of crepe paper are mostly used for painting and varnishing work at events or in industry: Painter's tape has good conformability and resistance to water, varnish and paints. Crepe adhesive tape can be labelled and easily torn off the roll by hand. Flat crepe adhesive tape has medium adhesive strength and can be removed after use. The adhesive tapes stick to many materials, from rubber to wood to glass.

Paper adhesive tapes are self-adhesive and particularly flexible in application: even taping curves or rounded edges ly to the selected surface is no problem with crepe adhesive tape.
Caution: The masking tape should always be applied under tension to prevent paint from getting under the adhesive tape or the film canisters from closing properly!
Painter's tape: Product overview
The following adhesive tapes made of special paper are available in the allbuyone online shop:
- Fine masking tape: Flat creped, impregnated adhesive tape measuring 19 mm x 25 m. The narrow masking tape is ideal for precisely covering smaller or hard-to-reach areas and can be removed without leaving any residue for approx. 2 weeks after use.
- Masking tape: Flat crepe, impregnated paper tape measuring 50 mm x 50 m. Wider masking tapes for all painting work and for sealing film canisters etc. over large areas. Can also be removed without leaving any residue for approx. 2 weeks.
- Artist tape: Crepe adhesive tape measuring 24 mm x 55 m; available in black, white, red, light blue – for reflection-free work in film and photo studios – or four fluorescent neon colours (yellow, orange, green and pink): Brightly coloured painter's tape is perfect as masking tape for marking cables, stage positions and event accessories, as well as for tape art and as warning tape in dark event areas. Can be removed from most surfaces without leaving any residue.
Masking tapes are waterproof, temperature-resistant ( ) and therefore suitable for both outdoor and indoor use; however, they are not permanently weather-resistant. If exposed to excessive moisture or rain, the masking tape may become leaky over time – therefore, only use it for short periods outdoors at events, festivals or construction sites!
Crepe adhesive tape has medium adhesive strength and is therefore less suitable for attaching heavy objects. Instead , use strong adhesive or double-sided adhesive tapes if you want to fix accessories such as hooks in event and stage construction or connect floor coverings!

Please note the optimum application temperature for adhesive tapes of approx. +12°C to +25°C. Never touch the adhesive surfaces of self-adhesive rubber industrial adhesive tapes. We pass on all manufacturer data on the adhesive and immediate adhesive strength of the products directly to our customers without guarantee.
Tips: We recommend always carrying out test applications with the product to test the individual properties of crepe adhesive tape with rubber adhesive. Use suitable adhesion promoters (primers) especially for surfaces that are difficult to bond!
Paper tape: Storage of products
Please store each roll of flat crepe adhesive tape in a dry place, protected from UV light and for a maximum of one year – ideally in the original packaging.
Removing adhesive tape residue – with cleaner from Tesa
Depending on the type, our high-quality crepe adhesive tape with paper backing can be removed without leaving any residue for at least two weeks, making it ideal for covering during renovation and painting work, as crepe adhesive tape rarely needs to stick for longer than one to two days in these situations.
