Shurtape CP 743 is a black masking tape developed for photographers in darkrooms or film development labs – it is completely opaque and has an ultra-matte, slightly rough, non-reflective surface. As a masking tape against light leaks and reflections, it is suitable for sealing camera bellows and film holders. Shurtape CP 743 is equally perfect for use in event supplies, for example to connect materials with each other in a UV-proof manner or to mask reflective surfaces.
The water-repellent Shurtape is coated with a transparent, rubber-based adhesive. It hasa high adhesive strength (5.14 N/cm) and a high initial tack . The photographic adhesive tape is adaptable, it adapts well to curves for a masking tape and can therefore also be used to seal containers dust-tight. It has a synthetic rubber adhesive, which is suitable for sensitive surfaces, e.g. on technical equipment or on instruments. The extra-dense "Photographers Masking Tape"can be removed without leaving any residue for up to two weeks. The black paper tape is stretchable up to 8% and adheres reliably in a temperature range of 7°C to 66 °C.
