The fluorescent premium adhesive paper tape (artist adhesive-tape/console tape) is available in a set of 4 in the following neon colours: yellow, orange, green and pink. The tape is 4.50 m long per roll (total of 18 m in the set) and 12 mm or 18 mm wide depending on the variant.

The uv active adhesive tape is characterised by its excellent hand-tearability in all directions and is extremely easy to unroll. The tape has a very high adhesive strength and surprisingly high tear resistance. The surface is absolutely smooth and can be written on with any pen. Perfect]for sticking to technical equipment: the bright, fluorescent UV-active adhesive tape has a very gentle adhesive system made of silicone-free, synthetic rubber. Thanks to a non-corrosive adhesive, the tapes can be easily removed without damaging the adhesive, e.g. from cables or technical equipment. The neon tape has a pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive that even allows repositioning (reuse ). The UV tape adheres to almost all surfaces, but is somewhat more difficult on asphalt and concrete.

Please note: the fluorescent adhesive tape has been renamed by the manufacturer. Recently , the artist tape has also been sold under the trade name "console tape". However, in terms of quality and properties, it is exactly the same tape.

Difference between fluorescent and phosphorescent – do all tapes glow under UV light?

The difference between fluorescent and phosphorescent is easy to explain: when phosphorescent and fluorescent products are irradiated with light (visible or UV light), they are physically excited to an "excited state" (= luminescence or "optical radiation").

Both products have the ability to "freeze" this state for a period of time. Fluorescent products lose this ability within a millionth of a second, but phosphorescent products can maintain the glow for hours.

In short:

• phosphorescence: the product (e.g. adhesive tape or rescue signs) continues to glow in the dark for some time (minutes to hours depending on the quality of the product)
• Fluorescence: as soon as the light (daylight, UV light, black light) is switched off, the glow disappears within a fraction of a second. Therefore, the product does not glow optically.
