Rips carpet – B1 carpet for trade fairs and events
Rips carpet is an inexpensive and extremely durable carpet for temporary installation at trade fairs, galas, premieres, exhibitions and other events. You can buy Rips carpet in our shop by the metre or in 50 m rolls, with a choice of 19 colours. We always have all Rips carpets in stock and delivery takes place within 1-2 working days. Like all our floor coverings, the Rips carpet is certified as flame retardant according to Bfl-s1 in accordance with EN 13501-1 (formerly B1 according to DIN 4102) and is therefore approved as a trade show carpet and floor covering for events. Material and properties of Rips exhibition carpet
The Rips carpet is made of 100% polypropylene (PP) and has a fine ribbed structure (rips) that is only visible when viewed from the side. Rips trade show carpet made of polypropylene is hard-wearing and heat-resistant and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Please note: Rips carpets are heat-resistant and can also be laid on underfloor heating. When laying outdoors, please note that the Rips can become brittle at sub-zero temperatures (from approx. -7°C to -12°C). In extremely wet conditions, such as heavy rain, the carpet may also become slippery.
Ribbed carpet in flame-retardant quality
Rips exhibition carpet from allbuyone is flame retardant – an important property for use at trade fairs and events ( ). The Rips carpet complies with fire class Bfl-s1 according to EN 13501-1 (formerly B1 according to DIN 4102). This means that the floor coverings meet the fire safety requirements for public events.

Laying Rip carpet – tips and matching accessories
Rips carpet B1 is extremely easy to lay. Whether you want to lay Rips carpet by the metre or a whole roll, you can cut it to size using a cutter or scissors. For straight cut edges, we also recommend our carpet cutting rail. Rips carpets are particularly adaptable in shape, even when laid around corners and edges.
We recommend the following products for laying:
- Double-sided tape – for sticking and fixing the Rips carpet to the subfloor
- Cloth tape in various colours for gluing the edges
