Order flame retardants for textiles - cheap at allbuyone
Flame retardants are often used in the event industry to prevent the spread of fire in the event of a fire. The chemical compounds significantly reduce the risk of fire. Highly flammable textiles in particular require special flame protection.
This is because these materials must be flame-resistant in accordance with DIN 4102 B1 and EN ISO 9239 ( ) or be made flame-resistant using appropriate flame retardants. At allbuyone, you can buy flame retardants for textiles – the substances are largely harmless to both health and the environment when disposed of.
Which is the right flame retardant for my fabrics?
The choice of flame retardant depends on the composition of the textiles. It is important to know whether the fabric you want to impregnate is made of pure natural fibres or whether it also contains plastics or synthetic components.
What do flame retardants do?
Flame retardants, also known as fire retardants or flame inhibitors, significantly reduce the risk of fire at events. The effect of chemical agents (flame retardant sprays and immersion baths) can significantly reduce the fire hazard of a wide variety of building products such as textiles, plastics or natural materials. Fire retardants work by slowing down the flammability of a fabric – they therefore delay a possible fire by making textiles flame-resistant, for example.

Bioretard® flame retardants: frequently used for pure natural fibres
Bioretard® is particularly suitable for absorbent materials and decorative items made of natural fibres and cellulose and mixtures thereof. Fabrics such as
- molton, wool, fleece, velvet, plush
- (artificial) raffia and thin reed mats, etc., but also
- thin plywood, cardboard and paper
can be treated with the agent. The effect of Bioretard® is reliable; the fire retardants largely preserve the colours and appearance of the material. The manufacturer guarantees an effectiveness of at least three years.
Our customers' experience has shown that caution should be exercised when using the flame retardant on light-coloured textiles. The fire retardant may stain light-coloured materials. Please test this property beforehand on an inconspicuous area.
Flame retardants Floreimp K Verde: best protection for fabrics with synthetic fibres
Floreimp K Verde consists of a clear, aqueous solution of phosphorus-nitrogen compounds. This means that it protects not only cellulose and wool, but also synthetic fibres and their blends. Synthetic fabrics that can be impregnated with this agent include polyacrylonitrile, polyester, Tyvek, sequins and lurex. The manufacturer guarantees the effectiveness of the impregnation for at least twelve months.
Optimal flame protection, best results:
- Best results with minimal application
- No or only very slight effect on the textiles (colour, material properties, etc.)
- No or only very short afterglow time
Caution with polyester or polyacrylonitrile fibres: Depending on the specific composition of the textiles and the material thickness, the material properties may be affected. Please test on an inconspicuous area first!
