The flame retardant Florimp K Verde® is suitable for synthetic fibres, cellulose fibre fabrics (except jute), polyester fibre fabrics, mixed fibres and natural textiles (wool, silk). The fire retardant is ideal for artificial plants, such as ivy tendrils and other decorative plants. The halogen-free flame retardant is highly concentrated and should be diluted with water, depending on the material. You can buy Florimp K Verde flame retardant in 5 l, 10 l or 25 l canisters.
Please note: The flame retardant is not suitable for (real) Christmas trees, Advent wreaths and other decorations made from pine branches due to the essential oils contained in the needles .

Fire protection agents Florimp K Verde® canister
Strict fire protection regulations apply at events. The materials used must be flame retardant. The flame retardant Florimp K Verde is especially suitable for synthetic fibres, it makes the impregnated materials flame retardant according to DIN 4102. The flame retardant Florimp K Verde® is also often used to impregnate artificial plants. Florimp K Verde is available as a concentrate, which should be mixed with water for use depending on the material. It is used at trade fairs, in gastronomy and for theatre and stage equipment. You can order the flame retardant in a practical canister with a choice of 5 l / 10 l / 25 l content.

Effect of flame retardants
Flame retardants are used to prevent fires. When treated in accordance with regulations, building materials correspond to building material class B1 according to DIN 4102. The higher the concentration, the greater the flame protection. Please note:
- Contact with base metals can lead to corrosion.
- with fibres that have a low absorption capacity and with overdosing, it can lead to the formation of crystals and stains. This applies above all to synthetic fibres or when used in high humidity.
How do I process the flame retardants?
Flame retardants should only be applied to dry materials. Depending on their size, the materials are either soaked or sprayed with the agent. Fabrics are treated with the flame retardants using the foulard process or by immersion impregnation, and then the fabric is spun down to 60-70% residual moisture. Decorative materials are soaked or dipped in the solution, and then the material is allowed to dry freely.
The drying temperature recommended by the manufacturer is room temperature. Care should be taken with light-coloured fabrics: the colours may change slightly due to the impregnation.
