Florimp K Verde® is a flame protection spray for impregnating absorbent materials made of natural fibres (except jute), synthetic and polyester fabrics. It is also suitable as a flame retardant for decorations and artificial flowers. The flame protection spray makes the treated fabric flame-resistant in accordance with DIN 4102/building material class B1 when used as directed. The colourless spray is dilutable and halogen-free. Florimp K Verde flame protection spray is available in a practical 1 litre spray bottle.
Florimp K Verde flame protection spray is suitable for, among other things:
The flame retardant Florimp K Verde® is also available in 5, 10 or 15 litre canisters.
Please note: Due to the essential oils contained in the needles, the flame retardant is not suitable for (real) Christmas trees, Advent wreaths and other decorations made from fir/conifer trees.
The flame retardant is highly effective even when used in small quantities. When treated in accordance with DIN 4102, the treated building materials are flame-resistant. It can be diluted with water and completely removed by washing. The flame retardant in the practical spray can penetrates materials well and has little or no effect on their appearance. Synthetic fibres absorb the flame retardant less well, which can lead to crystal formation and edge formation. This can also be the case in high humidity or if the product is overdosed.
Recommendation: Always carry out a compatibility and effectiveness test, especially before using on large areas.
The flame retardant should always be applied to dry materials. The amount used depends on the type and structure of the material.
fabrics are treated with the flame retardant using the foulard process or by dip impregnation and subsequent centrifuging to 60-70% residual moisture.
For decorative materials, the manufacturer recommends dipping or soaking and free-hanging drying. The impregnated materials should be dried at room temperature, otherwise at max. 130°C.
