Flame retardants for paper and cardboard
Special flame retardants for paper, cardboard and cellulose fibres ensure that the materials do not burn. Flame retardants from allbuyone are used for retroactive flame protection, for example for decorations, backdrops and other materials. The flame retardants Bioretard® and Florimp® K Verde are available in the shop in canisters or as a practical spray – particularly suitable for use on the go and for smaller parts.
Flame retardancy according to DIN 4102 B1
Strict fire safety requirements apply at public events and trade fairs. The materials used must be flame-retardant. If they have not already been treated with fire retardants during manufacture, the materials can be treated with a fire retardant at a later stage. When used correctly, the materials then comply with building material class B1 according to DIN 4102.
Flame retardant for paper: Bioretard® and Florimp K Verde
For fire protection impregnation of wood and cardboard, you can purchase the following flame retardants from allbuyone:

You can rely on Bioretard® and Florimp® K Verde: both are well suited for paper, cardboard and other absorbent products made from cellulose fibres.
Bioretard®: suitable for natural fibres
Bioretard® is kind to the skin and suitable for absorbent materials and decorations made of cellulose. The flame retardant is reliable and the material remains largely unchanged after treatment: slight discolouration may occur on light-coloured surfaces. Please test the product on an inconspicuous area before using it on a large surface. The manufacturer guarantees the effectiveness of the product for at least three years.
Florimp® K Verde: the all-rounder
Florimp K Verde protects natural fibres as well as plastics, making it particularly suitable for mixed materials. The manufacturer guarantees the effectiveness of the active ingredient for at least twelve months in closed containers.
Properties of the fire retardants
The flame retardants consist of a clear phosphorus-nitrogen compound, are halogen-free and can be diluted with water.
- Effective even in very small quantities
- Has little effect on colour and other material properties
- No or very low afterglow time
Flame retardant in canisters or as a spray
Bioretard® and Florimp® K Verde are available from allbuyone in various versions, for spraying or refilling:

Harmless to the environment
Allbuyone only supplies non-brominated flame retardants. Our products do not contain any harmful additives such as
- TBBPA (tetrabromobisphenol A)
- HBCD (hexabromocyclododecane)
- PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ether)
- halogen
- heavy metals
- Solvents
Non-brominated flame retardants can be disposed of in normal household waste or at a recycling centre after use.
