Both molleton fabrics have a roughened surface to improve light and sound absorption, as well as certified low flammability, which is particularly important for use in the event sector: allbuyone's molton is B1-certified according to DIN 4102 and also meets the C-s1, d0 classification according to DIN EN 13501-1. Stage molton is made of 100% cotton and, at 300 g/m², is the ideal curtain for stage and theatre, while decorative molton is a 160 g/m², lightweight, inexpensive decorative fabric. Our sewing department will customise the molton precisely to your specifications, with eyelets, a hem or in an unusual format. You can also order the matching fastening accessories in the shop. Which molton would you like to configure? Decorative molton or stage molton? To help you decide which molton is right for your project, here is a brief description of the two fabrics.
Decorative molton and stage molton have some properties in common:
- Material: 100% cotton
- roughened on both sides
- matt surface
- flame retardant impregnation, B1-certified according to DIN 4102
- correspond to classification C-s1, d0 according to DIN EN 13501-1
- certified according to EN 13773
The two fabrics have different properties. With a weight of 300 g/m², stage molton is a high-quality technical fabric, while decorative molton is a lightweight, low-priced decorative fabric with a weight of 160 g/m ².
