Construction fence advertising: mesh banners, tarpaulins and continuous printing
Fence banners provide a huge advertising effect, because the colourfully printed advertising banners on the fence can be seen from afar. For example, as an information board in the middle of an outdoor event, as effective advertising view protection for fencing off an event site, or for construction site advertising in busy locations. Printed tarpaulins and mesh banners on construction site hoardings are also real eye-catchers when used indoors.
In the standard format of approx. 3.40 x 1.75, the eyelet-fitted fence banner is customised to fit standard construction fences. The eyelets enable time-saving installation of the fence cover. Alternatively, you can buy endless banners for construction fences – for extra-long advertising!

By the way: The material you choose for your fence banner is not just a matter of taste. Closed materials offer particular advantages in terms of print image and opacity for privacy protection. However, they also have disadvantages when exposed to wind loads or when used specifically as scaffolding banners or facade banners.
Banners for construction site fences in B1 flame-retardant quality
Strict fire safety regulations apply to fence tarps and advertising banners at events and in public areas. The material used for construction fence advertising should therefore always be flame retardant. All construction fence banners from allbuyone, with the exception of the Budget construction fence banner, are certified according to DIN 4102 and comply with fire protection class B1 (flame retardant).
Finishing: Fence banners with reinforced edges and eyelets
A fence banner with eyelets can be easily attached using tarpaulin bungee cords, cable ties or expander rope. The fence tarpaulins are finished as follows for this purpose:
- hemmed all around (reinforced edges)*
- Eyelet fastening (at 50 cm intervals)
The reinforced edges increase the tear resistance of the fence tarp. They also provide secure protection against the eyelets tearing out, even in high winds.
*Please note: The Budget fence banner is not reinforced at the edges.
Other designs (e.g. single hemmed, hollow hem, drawstring, piping, Velcro tape, etc.) are available at any time. Please use our configurator for this purpose!
A look at the eyelets – high-frequency welding for advertising spaces with a big impact
On some fence banners, the eyelets are practically invisible from the front. The trick: on PVC-coated advertising banners (e.g. coated mesh, advertising tarpaulins made of frontlit), PVC eyelets can be welded onto the advertising banner from the back – they do not interfere with the advertising space and hardly interrupt the banner print. Other fence banners have rustproof metal eyelets.

Banner printing: digital printing for a high-resolution advertising message
Digital printing is considered a particularly high-quality printing process. We print all our fence banners with high-quality, durable printing inks on state-of-the-art printing machines. Depending on the printing material, there may be slight variations in print quality.
- On smooth, closed surfaces such as frontlit PVC tarpaulins, a high-resolution, detailed and photorealistic print result is possible. The colour reproduction is intense and brilliant, and fonts and logos can be printed with clear, clean contours.
- Mesh with its net structure also offers very good print quality, but due to the net structure, a short viewing distance is necessary to see the print to its full effect. Also note: the mesh is printed from above, depending on the print colour, illumination and viewing angle, the white base material may be more or less visible.
- , with its closed, smooth surface, is also ideal for printing, with clear contours and beautiful colour gradients. The textile material is particularly absorbent, resulting in beautiful, rich colours. Due to the soft surface, the colours are only slightly less intense than on coated fabrics.

- After successful purchase, you will receive an order confirmation for your products and a link to our data sheet, which contains important information regarding the layout and transmission of the print data.
- You will then receive a second email with an order confirmation and a personalised link for uploading your print data.
- The order confirmation also contains the expected delivery date*.

Note on print data checking: If you have booked our basic print data check, we will automatically make minor corrections for you. If the resolution or similar is incorrect, we will actively contact you.
If you have not booked the print data check, we cannot guarantee the output quality of your prints.
You can optionally book our personal premium graphics service. This is charged separately according to time and effort (€44.50 per half hour or part thereof). Please leave us a short note in the order comments at the end of your order. - Once the data is correct, your products will go to print.
- The fence banners will be shipped to you after production.
*Exception for payment in advance: In this case, we will only start production of your printed materials after receipt of payment. The delivery date is therefore dependent on receipt of payment.

PVC advertising tarpaulins: opaque advertising banners for construction site fences
The advertising tarpaulin, commonly known as PVC tarpaulin, full tarpaulin or frontlit, offers a closed and therefore opaque surface. The fence banner is printed on one side as standard using state-of-the-art 6-colour digital printing . The result: high-contrast banner printing in high resolution, rich colours with excellent colour brilliance and precise reproduction of the motif – regardless of whether the layout contains images, text or line graphics. Modern 6c printing enables an extended colour space and ensures more natural skin tones and brilliant colour gradients.

What you should know about frontlit
The motif printed on one side shines through slightly on the matt, white reverse side ( ). To prevent this effect, you should opt for a blockout banner. Blockout tarpaulins have an integrated barrier layer and can be printed on one side ( ) or on both sides , depending on the design.
By the way: Frontlit has a silk matt/slightly glossy surface as standard. Frontlit advertising banners are also available in a matt finish on request.
Possible disadvantages: Although tarpaulins offer very good privacy protection, they are not air-permeable, unlike nets . This can be dangerous when exposed to high wind loads – for example, when used as fence tarps on a large festival site or as XXL facade banners in exposed locations. A tried-and-tested way of securing advertising tarpaulins is with storm braces, which can be ordered in addition to the construction fence.

Budget tarpaulin vs. premium tarpaulin B1 – what's the difference?
Firstly , the material: the B1 tarpaulin is made of a moulded PVC full tarpaulin, while the budget tarpaulin is made of a laminated PVC tarpaulin. This results in differences in terms of durability and longevity.
The other difference is in the hem: In order to offer you a particularly low price, the Budget construction fence tarp is produced without a flat hem. The High Quality B1 tarpaulin, on the other hand, has a reinforced hem, which protects the eyelets from tearing out, even in windy conditions.
Mesh – wind-permeable construction fence and scaffolding banners
Mesh, a PVC-coated, close-meshed fabric commonly known as advertising mesh, grid mesh tarpaulin, PVC mesh or mesh vinyl, offers a wind- and light-permeable alternative to. The material has a standard grammage of approx. 300 g/m² and is approx. 20% wind-permeable ( e alternatives available).
These printed fence banners are also hard-wearing, completely waterproof and weatherproof, and UV-stable for approx. 3 years, depending on exposure to sunlight. Mesh is also very dimensionally stable and has high tear resistance. Mesh can be used both indoors and outdoors. The wind-permeable material offers less surface area for high wind loads and is suitable for particularly exposed locations, for example as large-scale scaffolding banners or fence banners in open fields. Due to its light transmission, mesh is also used outdoors for covering glass facades.
Printed mesh also guarantees high-quality print motifs. However, due to its grid-like structure , the print area is not 100% opaque. This offers a possible disadvantage when used as a privacy screen. When creating the layout, it should be noted that light rays shining on the construction fence banner from behind make the colours of the print motif appear brighter.

Endless nonwovens – inexpensive material for temporary use
Endless banners made of fleece are inexpensive and extremely efficient banners for construction site fences. The material – dense polypropylene fleece – impresses with its pleasantly soft, textile feel, and is tear-resistant, rip- e and hard-wearing. Endless nonwovens also score points for their ease of handling: the material can be cut to size without fraying. Finishing with eyelets or similar is possible but not necessary. Cable ties or thin wire can be easily inserted through the material.

Care and storage of construction fence advertising
Both printed mesh and fence tarps are waterproof and therefore washable. For transport and reuse, both materials should always be rolled up! This is the only way to keep the material wrinkle-free and protect the print from possible damage.
Fleece is not washable; this disposable material is intended for one-time, temporary use and should be disposed of after use. Clean, undamaged fleece can be reused without any problems, but make sure it is stored in a dry place!
Printed advertising banners for indoor use
Indoor use is possible due to the flame retardancy of printed tarpaulins and mesh. However, as with many other printed materials, a freshly printed banner will smell! We would be happy to inform you personally about the possibility of printing your individual design with odourless inks.
