Whether in the studio or workshop, on the construction site or festival grounds: While conventional cables always have at least one channel, some models also offer oversized channels for audio plugs or even hoses (e.g. sizes A and C). Surface and base of Defender cable protectors
The ribbed anti-slip surfaces of all Defender cable protectors ensure safety when crossing even in rainy conditions. The covers are in the signal colour yellow and are therefore always clearly visible, even in poor light. On all models, the open cover remains standing on its own, making it easy to insert cables and hoses. The housing made of black polyurethane forms the lower part of every Defender cable protector – it is highly robust and, thanks to its knobbed profile, offers a secure hold on various surfaces. The special feature: every Defender cable protector has patented, self-cleaning cover hinges.

Defender cable protector connectors: quick to install, secure hold
Thanks to the connecting pins in the tongue and groove system, installing Defender cable protectors is easy. Even with heavy foot and vehicle traffic, the cable protectors offer guaranteed good hold against lateral forces. The highlight: With the Defender 3 model, the connectors are not an integral part of the base; they are supplied separately. These connectors can also be anchored to the ground by drilling holes.
Cable protectors made of black polyurethane – extremely robust and durable
The housings (lower part) of all Defender cable protectors are made of thermoplastic black polyurethane (TPU) and are highly resistant to chemicals , oil, acids, solvents and petrol. T he material can be used indoors and outdoors in a wide range of temperatures, is extremely robust and wear-resistant and impresses with a hardness range of 88 Shore ± 4 A. Defender cable protectors therefore offer the best cable and personal protection.
Every Defender cable protector is DEKRA certified, complies with DIN 31000 and EN 61537, and is regularly subjected to special tests.
All Defender cable protectors are manufactured in Germany. They comply with flame protection class B2. The cable protection is also available in B1-certified quality (, flame retardant) as an option . Please contact us personally for more information!

All Defender heavy-duty cable protectors are suitable for road use (except Defender Mini). When using the product in road traffic , please check with the relevant authorities in good time whether you are permitted to use the cable protector in road traffic and how you should mark the danger spot.
