The Defender Mini cable protector is a champion among lightweight products. The universal, compact cable protector is high-quality, robust and weighs less than 5 kg. The cable protector is very flat and, measuring 100 x 29 x 4.8 cm (length x width x height), is particularly easy to handle when laying. The Defender Mini can do everything that is required of a professional floor cable protector. This easy-to-install model is suitable for a wide range of applications at events and protects your cables indoors and outdoors from people and light vehicle traffic. The cable protector offers a load capacity of up to 2 tonnes on an area of 20 x 20 cm. The ribbed, non-slip surface and the non-slip base profile provide optimum grip on both sides: it protects people from slipping and prevents slipping on a wide variety of surfaces. The high-quality Adam Hall Defender Mini cable protector is suitable for indoor and outdoor cable protection. It is characterised by a low weight of less than 5 kg. Compact dimensions of 100 x 29 x 4.8 cm (length, width, height) make the cable protector handy and easy to lay. The Defender Mini cable protector has three channels for organising cables and lines. The cable protector is made in Germany from robust polyurethane and polyethylene and is resistant to oil, acids and petrol. The cable protector is suitable for a temperature range of -30°C to +60°C.

The yellow lid contrasts sharply with the black housing, making the cable protector easily and quickly recognisable from a distance. Installing the Defender Mini cable protector
The easy-to-use and secure tongue and groove locking system connects the elements vertically and prevents the modules from being separated by lateral forces, such as those caused by the movement of people. Any number of cable protectors can be connected to each other using the individual elements . To use the cable protector correctly, it is positioned on firm, level ground. The following element is connected to the male end of the cable protector already in place by inserting the female part from above. This process is repeated until the length to be bridged has been reached. If changes in direction are necessary, we recommend the Defender Mini R or Mini L element (both available on request), which allows a 45° bend without exposing the cables.
To lay the cables in the cable channels, the flexible lid on the opposite side of the hinges is folded up at the recess. The lid stays in this position independently. Now the channels are exposed to allow audio cables, hoses, etc. to be routed in them. After the cables have been laid from start to finish, the lids can be closed again and pressed firmly shut.

Cleaning and storage instructions
The Defender Mini cable protectors were designed with a patented self-cleaning hinge. Most dried dirt that collects in the chambers on the underside is automatically removed when the lid is opened and closed. The cable protector can also be cleaned with a steam cleaner if it is very dirty. After cleaning, it is recommended to store the cable protector horizontally. Excess lubricant must be removed after cleaning or maintenance.
Defender Mini cable protector in use
Cable protectors reliably protect cables. The Defender models are suitable for protection against mechanical and weather-related damage. Ideally, the Defender Mini cable protector is used in places where there is mainly foot traffic and light vehicle traffic. The non-slip top and the studded bottom provide grip on any surface. The cable protector' s easily noticeable signal colours make it particularly suitable for use in the event sector, at trade fairs, markets, roadshows or in industry. The black model is particularly suitable for event needs, for example for laying in front of stages or in backstage areas.
Please note: the Defender Mini is not designed for use on public roads. Due to the manufacturing process, the cable protectors may have silicone residue on the surface when delivered. To ensure that the Defender Mini has full grip, this should be removed using washing-up liquid before first use.
The Defender Mini cable protectors]are suitable for low-voltage cables (up to 500V, such as communication, control and power supply cables) and thus provide protection against voltage transfer. Rigid gas pipes should not be laid in cable protectors. Emergency braking and turning on the spot will damage the overrun protection.
Extreme temperatures can cause the materials to change. For example, TPU becomes softer in high temperatures. At very low temperatures, TPU becomes harder, which reduces elasticity.
