Gobo
A gobo is a mask used in lighting technology, comparable to a stencil that is inserted into a spotlight and projects logos, patterns, texts or images onto the stage. The display is similar to a slide projection.
Gobosare highly heat-resistant because they consist of a glass plate that is chrome-plated and then etched or lasered away. For coloured images, the chrome layer is combined with colour filters.
