DIN 13169

DIN 13169 is the German industrial standard for first aid kits, which must be used in administrative and commercial companies with 51 or more employees, in manufacturing and processing companies with 21 or more employees and on construction sites with 11 or more employees.
The standard defines the minimum contents of the first-aid kit.
DIN 13169 is also the standard for first aid kits for schools and kindergartens.
First aid kits that comply with DIN 13169 must contain the following:

• 2 first-aid blankets DIN 13152, 60 x 80 cm
• 2 first-aid dressings DIN 13151, small
• 6 first-aid dressings DIN 13151, medium
• 2 first-aid dressings DIN 13151, large
• 4 WS- fixation bandages 4 m x 6 cm
• 4 WS - fixation bandages 4 m x 8 cm
• 6 V-shaped dressings, 10 x 10 cm, 2 pieces each (delivered in packs of 2 or individually)
• 4 eye pads
• 1 large assortment finger bandage:

1. 8 finger tip dressings, 4.3 x 7.2 cm
2. 16 plasters in strip form 2,
3. 8 plasters strips 1.9 x 7.2 cm
4. 8 plasters, 12.0 x 2.0 cm

• 2 adhesive plasters 5 m x 2.5 cm
• 2 plaster quick-dressing sets, 80 x 6 cm SO
• 2 rescue blankets, silver-gold, 210 x 160 cm
• 4 triangular bandages V SO
• 1 pair of scissors, 19 cm, knee-bent
• Set of 4 gloves, large vinyl
• 2 fleece cloths 200 x 300 mm, pack of 5
• 4 PE- zip lock bags 300 x 400 mm x 0.05 mm
• 2 cold instant compresses, small, approx. 20 x 15 cm
