The dismantling call is a number of people, usually defined in the stage direction, who are expected to dismantle a specified area of an event. If the dismantling call comes from a stage direction, it usually refers to the dismantling of the tour equipment. This usually includes backline, decoration, sound and lighting technology, and electrical cabling. The organisation and provision of this personnel is the responsibility of the temporary employment agency and its dispatchers, who are contracted by the event organiser. This includes, for example, rigger, grounder, scaffolder, stagehand, runner, electrician and forklift truck driver.
