Details about the tarpaulin material
The view protection tarps are made of robust HDPE tape fabric and laminated with an LDPE coating. This material has the following properties:
- Temperature resistance: -40°C to +80°C
- Tear resistance: 600 N / 5 cm
- Tear resistance: 200 N
- UV-stable
- Waterproof
- Weather resistant
- Resistant to acids, alkalis and chemicals
- Hard-wearing
HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is a particularly high-quality form of polyethylene that is very robust. The tape fabric is water- and weather-resistant, UV-resistant and very tear-resistant (600 N / 5 cm).
View protection tarp B1 flame retardant

The tarpaulins are used in a wide variety of areas, including events, construction sites and in the garden. There are two main applications:
- as fence screens / fence tarps for privacy protection
- as a cover tarpaulin
Fence screen for reliable privacy protection
When covered with fence screens, construction fences provide reliable privacy protection.Thanks to their dense plastic fabric, the tarpaulins offer optimum privacy protection on construction sites and at events. The tarpaulins are completely opaque and create privacy where it is needed.
At trade fairs and events, fences that restrict access and footpaths are covered with opaque tarpaulins. Catering areas, sanitary and delivery zones are concealed, as are VIP and backstage areas.
On construction sites, the view protection tarps are also used to cover construction fences. They serve as opaque barriers, shielding the construction site from prying eyes and protecting passers-by from dust and dirt at the same time.
The view protection tarps can also be attached to high fences in gardens. In green, the tarpaulin blends in well with the colours of the plants, for example, while reliably creating privacy.
The 3.41 x 1.76 m view protection tarpaulin can be used to cover individual mobile construction fences. Advantage: the tarpaulins do not need to be removed during dismantling; they can be left on the construction fence and are ready for use at the next event. The 10 x 1.76 m tarpaulin, on the other hand, is ideal for covering long fence sections quickly and efficiently.

The waterproof cover tarpaulin protects seating and other event equipment from wind and weather.A second major area of application is as a cover tarpaulin, for which the waterproof tarpaulins are ideal. The tarpaulin protects against moisture, wind and snow.
At events, the tarpaulin is used to protect event equipment, seating, technology and cases with various accessories. Catering tables and outdoor sales stands are also protected from the rain with the tarpaulin. The tarpaulin protects the equipment during the set-up phase and – for events lasting several days – overnight, during transport and in storage.
On construction sites, the tarpaulin is used to cover tools and machinery. The tarpaulin, measuring 10 x 1.76 m, offers particularly large-area protection here.
In the garden, the tarpaulin protects garden furniture, swimming pools, sandpits and much more from leaves and the weather. The tarpaulins can also be used for firewood and car trailers, as well as a groundsheet when camping. The smaller tarpaulin is usually sufficient for this purpose.
Information about tarpaulins as windbreaks
Would you like to use the fabric tarpaulin as a windbreak? In general, it can be used as a windbreak, but you should note a few points:
The dense tarpaulin offers a closed surface area for wind to attack, so a construction fence should be additionally stabilised in strong gusts of wind. Either by two additional construction fences, which are attached to the construction fence in a triangle, or by storm struts. To reduce wind resistance, you should also loosen the tarpaulin's attachment at one of the lower corners. The fabric tarpaulin should be removed in strong winds.
Alternatively, we offer a wind-permeable view protection net made of mesh, also made to fit a construction fence or customised from mesh vinyl.
Attaching view protection tarps – accessories and tips
The tarpaulins are equipped with eyelets all around and can therefore be quickly and easily mounted on any fence. All you need for fastening are cable ties or tarpaulin bungee cords. Cable ties can be used once; you will need a cutter to remove them. Tarpaulin bungee cords can be reused.
For a secure hold, please attach the tarpaulin to all eyelets!
Cleaning and storing the view protection tarp
The fence tarp is very easy to care for; dirt can be washed off with water and mild soapy water. Do not use cleaning agents containing chlorine! To prevent mould growth, please ensure that the tarpaulins are stored in a dry place.
