The waterproof cover tarpaulin is equipped with rust-free aluminium eyelets spaced 50 cm apart along the perimeter. The eyelets have an inner diameter of 12 mm and are integrated into the hemmed edges together with a reinforcing PP tape – unlike cheap cover and view protection tarpaulins from hardware stores, these tarpaulins with eyelets withstand high tensile and tear loads. The cover tarpaulin with eyelets can be tensioned smoothly under high load, for example as a fence tarp, and resists strong wind forces. The carrier of the tarp is made of HDPE fabric – high-density polyethylene. These tarpaulins are more durable than conventional PVC tarpaulins from the hardware store. In addition, the outer fabric is laminated with a coating of ldpe foils and UV-stabilised.

What is a tarpaulin made of fabric? And how does it differ from a PVC tarpaulin?
Unlike a full-surface PVC tarpaulin, tarpaulins made of woven fabric are made of woven tape fabric. This means that tarpaulins made of woven fabric consist of individual strips of film that are woven at right angles (warp/weft). The fabric, which was originally developed as a green ground fabric (for weed control), now offers reliable protection in many areas. Whether used as a tarpaulin or on a fence, a tarpaulin made in this way is able to withstand higher tensile forces. Under load, for example when tensioned or in windy conditions, the tarpaulins do not tear as quickly. In addition, the tarpaulins lose only part of their strength when damaged and do not tear completely immediately; they have good tear resistance.

Cleaning and storing tarpaulins
The tarpaulins can be easily cleaned with water and a mild soap solution. Stubborn stains can also be removed with a high-pressure cleaner. Please avoid using cleaning agents that contain chlorine. Also make sure that the tarpaulin is completely dry before storing it. Folded or rolled up, the fabric tarpaulin can be stored in a space-saving way. You can remove wrinkles by stretching the fabric the next time you need to use it.
