This stage flooring is designed for temporary use on stages. It can be laid indoors and outdoors over platforms and sprung floors, as well as directly on the floor of a venue or exhibition hall as robust event and exhibition flooring. This product can even be laid on the street for short periods of time.
The stage floor has a smooth, matt, non-reflective surface, making it suitable for installation on walls and as a floor covering for studios (TV, film, shows). Such floors offer excellent lighting properties.
The 2 mm thick stage floor is danceable on one side, dimensionally stable thanks to glass fibre inlay, and its slightly structured surface embossing has good abrasion resistance. The floor offers good traction. A slightly cushioning foam carrier layer ensures comfort. The high durability of the stage floor is suitable for touring use and provides the basis for different types of dance. The flame-retardant PVC is certified according to DIN 4102 B1, EN 13501-1 Cfl-s1. The high weight of approx. 66 kg per roll (approx. 1.32 kg/m²) is ideal for ensuring that the floor lies flat. One roll of dance floor is 2 m wide and 25 m long.

The flame-retardant dance floor is extremely robust, has a smooth, matt, non-reflective surface and offers the best conditions for dancing and stage lighting. Whether for shows, in the theatre or as a stage floor for other performing arts, the dance carpet developed for temporary installation is also suitable for use on tour.
The hard-wearing stage floor has a slightly embossed surface, is highly abrasion-resistant and is therefore a high-quality floor for different types of dance as well as rollable backdrops and rolling equipment. Its heavy weight and a reinforcing mineral fleece insert ensure good flatness and dimensional stability. A fine foam backing layer on the reverse side provides slight cushioning properties.
The individual strips are laid edge to edge and can be joined with transparent or colour-coordinated adhesive tape without bulges or waves at the edges. The stage flooring is available from allbuyone in 16 colours. The dance carpet measures ± 200 cm in width and comes in rolls of ± 25 m. The 50 m² roll weighs ± 66 kg. Please note: Stage flooring is a high-quality, flame-retardant flooring that is suitable for temporary installation on stages for events. This flooring can be laid several times and is highly durable. However, dance carpets are not designed for permanent or long-term use in dance studios. If the stage flooring is laid as a dance carpet, high point loads, sharp-edged objects or hard materials can damage the surface. When used as a dance carpet for stages, it should therefore not be used for tap dancing or similar dances with padded/reinforced shoes. As with other floor coverings, rubber soles can also cause unsightly "streaks" on the floor. The surface of the floor can become slippery when wet. Equipment and scenery should always be transported on castors.

Laying stage flooring
Laying a mobile dance floor is child's play: unroll, lay end to end and stick down at the edges. Matching PVC adhesive tapes in white, black or transparent are extremely elastic and adaptable. In addition, PVC adhesive tapes also offer good abrasion resistance, are ultra-matt and waterproof when bonded. Have you opted for a coloured stage floor? The individually tailored Gaffa Tape GT 571 can also be used as an alternative. In addition, temporary installation is also possible using double-sided adhesive tape.
PVC dance floors often have a strong odour. For installation, mainly in small rooms, we recommend adequate ventilation before the start of the event.

Delivery & transport of dance carpets
Please ensure that the stage floor is undamaged upon delivery. The item is heavy and has sensitive edges. The rolls should never be tipped over loading edges or placed at an angle on the edges. Only sign the delivery note if the products are delivered undamaged – transport insurance only applies if any defects are documented directly upon receipt of the goods.
Individual rolls should only be transported upright using a sack truck. For horizontal transport, please use two people or a forklift truck with a spike. Complaints due to incorrect transport or improper storage will not be accepted.
Storage & cleaning of the dance floor
Wipe the stage floor regularly with a mop and a pH-neutral cleaning agent. To prevent stubborn stains, rub the affected area immediately with a soft coconut brush. Scratch marks on the floor can be removed with small amounts of cleaning solvent. Use water to remove spilled chemicals from the floor covering. If necessary, use suitable floor mats to prevent dust accumulation on the floors.
The stage floor can be easily rolled up for reuse. Avoid damage and creases by rolling the floor back neatly onto the core of the product and storing it flat, individually on a shelf. The optimum temperature for storing the stage floor is between +15° and +35° C. Store the stage floor in a dry place, protected from heat, UV radiation, moisture, steam, vapour and solvents, individually on the roll.
