Buy carpet tiles in the allbuyone shop – low prices, fast delivery
Carpet tiles are inexpensive and a sustainable alternative to classic carpeting. Thanks to their fire protection class, carpet tiles are ideal as floor coverings for trade fairs or public events.
The tiles offer many other advantages: Carpet tiles are easy-care and robust floor coverings that do not require professional installation. The carpet tiles can be laid in no time at all, quickly and without much waste. For room design, plain-coloured carpet tiles can be laid in patterns or different colours of carpet tiles can be combined with each other.
Carpet tiles are sustainable carpets: A tile has a stain? No problem! If a tile becomes dirty, it can simply be replaced. Carpet tiles can be used more often. At the end of an event, the carpet tiles can be quickly removed and stored until the next time they are needed.
Product selection: Carpet tiles 50x50 cm and tiles 1x1 m
You can order carpet tiles from our range in various formats. We offer:
- Small carpet tiles 50x50 cm (loop pile)
- large carpet tiles 1x1m (needle felt ribbed)
- large carpet tiles 1x1m (needle felt curled velour)
High-quality products: The loop carpet tile (50 x 50 cm) and the ribbed needle felt carpet tile (100 x 100 cm) have a heavy-duty backing. The needle felt velour carpet tile (100x100cm), on the other hand, features a white polyolefin backing. Each of the three tiles can be laid as a self-lying tile. Unlike particularly inexpensive carpet tiles, these carpet tiles are cut to size during production. Cutting offers the advantage that all tiles are exactly the same size and can be laid flush, edge to edge. Another plus: each individual tile is marked with an arrow on the back, which determines the pile direction of the tile and makes laying particularly easy.
Carpet tile Schlinge: Proven loop pile, great value for money
The Schlinge carpet tile measuring 50 x 50 cm is a very affordable carpet tile in a tufted, soft loop pile quality – a tried-and-tested floor covering, as found in living rooms, bedrooms and children's rooms, for example. We offer the carpet tile in a mottled look in grey and dark grey for the floor design of your rooms . The loop tiles have a weight of 930 g per tile and are 5 .7 mm thick. The format is particularly convenient for laying and transport . Carpet tiles can be laid edge to edge in no time at all and without much waste.
Carpet tile loop properties
The robust and hard-wearing polypropylene tile offers a specially treated surface that is resistant to dirt. Combined with the mottled look, the loop pile is extremely easy to care for. Liquids largely roll off and dry dirt can be easily vacuumed up. The back of the tile has a heavy-duty bitumen coating, covered by a layer of fleece. This makes it possible to lay the tiles on different substrates, and they can also be used as protective flooring. The carpets comply with fire protection class Cfl-s1 according to DIN EN 13501-1 (flame retardant). The carpet tiles are delivered in practical boxes containing 5 square metres of tiles.
Laying Schlinge carpet tiles: plain colours, multicoloured or with patterns
The carpet tiles can be laid in any design you like; the tiles are available in plain colours or multicoloured designs. The colours can be easily combined with each other, and plain colour laying is of course also possible. These carpet tiles are often laid in patterns: single-colour tiles can be laid in one direction, or can be laid in a block or chequerboard pattern , for example.
Notes: If these tiles are subject to heavy use, we recommend that you fix at least the edge tiles with adhesive tape!
Self-lying carpet tiles: large, high-quality tiles in square metre format
The large needle felt carpet tile measures one square metre (1x1 m), even large rooms can be laid particularly quickly with this tile. The needle felt tile made of polypropylene is available in our standard range in grey, light grey and black mottled. The mottled tile is available with either a coarse cord ribbed surface structure or in a crimped velour. Unlike conventional Rips carpets, these tiles impress with their modern look. The ribbed floor tile has a rather rough surface, whereas the velour carpet tile has a rather soft surface. Both tiles have a fairly uniform surface appearance in terms of colour and appearance. Similar to carpets as found in commercial buildings.
Properties of the 1 x 1 m carpet tile
The high-quality carpet tiles can be laid without any problems as self-. The needle felt tiles weigh approx. 3250 g, and are between 6 mm and 7 mm thick. These carpet tiles are classified for use in commercial and contract areas and are also suitable for rooms with high foot traffic. The floor tiles are extremely durable and offer service class 32 ( industrial area – object stress class, intensive). The self-lying carpet tiles made of polypropylene are extremely easy to clean. The felt tiles offer impact sound insulation of approx. 25 dB and have fire protection class Bfl-s1 (flame retardant).
Lay large carpet tiles in individual designs
For the individual design of your rooms, plain and multi-coloured laying is possible. We recommend laying the large needle felt tiles in a chequerboard pattern, which is very easy to achieve using the directional arrows on the back of the carpet. Block laying is also a durable option for trade fairs and events with these tiles. The needle felt tiles are delivered on pallets of 100 square metres each.
Backing of loop and needle felt carpet tiles: Backing with heavy coating
The loop pile and needle felt carpet tiles have a heavy bitumen coating, which is covered by a soft fleece and can also be laid on sensitive surfaces. The carpet tiles can be laid as protective flooring without any problems , for example over a hall floor, sports floor or even over parquet flooring that needs protection.
Please note: Due to the black bitumen backing, the edges of the carpet tiles may rub off on sensitive, light-coloured floors and leave streaks. This is particularly true for sports hall floors and linoleum floors.
Backing Carpet tile needle felt velour: Polyolefin backing
The self-lying needle felt Velours carpet tile is particularly characterised by its white polyolefin backing. This material is completely free of bitumen. This is particularly advantageous for repeated use, as the carpet tile leaves no residue on the floor covering underneath. This tile is therefore particularly recommended for installation on sensitive floors (hall floors, sports floors, parquet).

How do you lay carpet tiles? What designs can be created with the tiles?
Carpet tiles offer various design options and can be laid quickly and easily without much waste. The tiles can be laid in a single colour or in multiple colours throughout the room. In addition, carpet tiles can also be laid in patterns or only individual strips of carpet can be fixed across the room.
You will find detailed instructions with important information and helpful tips and tricks in our data sheet"Carpet tile laying instructions". It answers frequently asked questions such as:
- How do you lay carpet tiles?
- How do you cut carpet tiles?
- Laying carpet tiles without glue – how does it work?
- How much waste is there with carpet tiles?
- What should I bear in mind with border tiles?
- Can I glue carpet tiles to the wall?
- What patterns can be laid with carpet tiles?
The following patterns can be laid with plain-coloured carpet tiles to design your room:
- Straight laying: All carpet tiles point in one direction. If you start laying the carpet tiles in the middle of a room, you will ensure that the border tiles all have the same format at the end.
- Checkerboard pattern: Each tile is rotated by 90°C. Laying the tiles in a checkerboard pattern creates interesting effects with plain-coloured tiles. Due to the pile direction, the light hitting the tiles is refracted differently, resulting in different colour nuances.
- Block laying: From the second row onwards, the tiles are laid offset by half their length. Block laying is highly recommended for high loads, as the offset creates greater stability, preventing the individual tiles from sliding over each other.
Practical: Each carpet tile has an arrow printed on the back to indicate the direction of the tile (surface structure).
Carpet tiles loop pile, needle felt, needle felt velour: what are the advantages of each tile?
You can buy carpet tiles in the allbuyone shop in three designs that differ in terms of appearance and feel:: loop pile, ribbed needle felt and needle felt velour carpet tiles.
The loop pile, also known as loop pile or loop pile carpet, has a surface with yarn laid in loops. These carpet tiles feel soft and are also suitable for living areas, for example as hard-wearing carpets for children's rooms, bedrooms and living rooms.
The needle felt tile (curled) has a rather soft surface made of needle-punched velour. This carpet tile is specially designed for long-term events and is therefore ideal for trade fairs, conferences, exhibitions, theatres and much more. The tile is lightweight and hard-wearing, as well as being particularly easy to care for. The big advantage of this environmentally friendly needle felt tile velour with a polyolefin backing is that it can be 100% recycled at the end of its life.
Unlike loop or velour carpet, the ribbed needle felt tile has a rather rough surface. The densely needle-punched yarn forms a very hard-wearing surface in a so-called "tangle ". At the end of the manufacturing process, these carpets are pressed into a coarse cord design . Similar to a Tretfort carpet, this carpet then has a ribbed structure running lengthwise. These carpet tiles are particularly suitable for use in offices or commercial areas, as well as for use at trade fairs and events.

What are the advantages of self-laying carpet tiles over conventional carpeting?
Carpet tiles offer a number of advantages over carpet rolls. You don't need to be a professional to lay the tiles. The tiles can be laid quickly and easily by just one person. Carpet tiles offer the following advantages over carpet rolls:
- Each individual tile can be quickly and easily replaced if it becomes dirty or damaged.
- Carpet tiles are easy to remove and can be re-laid in other rooms.
- Unlike rolls, tiles are easier to transport and require less storage space
- Carpet tiles offer many design options (single-colour and multi-colour laying or laying in patterns, e.g. chequerboard pattern)
- Carpet tiles can be laid easily without specialist knowledge
- Installation is inexpensive and results in minimal waste
Carpet tiles – what are they?
Carpet tiles – what are they? Carpet tiles are floor coverings (carpet flooring) that come in handy sizes (e.g. 50 x 50 cm or 100 x 100 cm) that are easy to lay and offer many design options. The main advantages of carpet tiles are that individual tiles can be easily replaced when dirty and that the floor covering can be used several times .
What are self-lying carpet tiles?
Self-laying carpet tiles are high-quality, very heavy tiles that can be laid without being fixed over the entire surface and can therefore mostly be laid loose on the floor. It is usually sufficient to fix only the heavily used key areas or edge tiles with adhesive tape. This creates a fixed frame that gives the carpet stability on all four sides. When laying carpet tiles over the entire floor, where the carpets are held in place by a wall at the edge, there is no need to fix them in place. Retailers also offer self-adhesive carpet tiles, although their use is less recommended.
Self-adhesive carpet tiles: Are the tiles suitable for living areas or for laying at events?
Self-adhesive carpet tiles are not recommended for laying at trade fairs or events . Why ? There are two reasons for this: poor quality and the fact that the tiles are difficult to remove.
What are self-adhesive carpet tiles anyway? These tiles are often carpets that are sold in shops without a backing – a mostly low-quality carpet is simply cut into square shapes. The self-adhesive tiles are very light and therefore cannot be laid loose on the floor. Instead of a heavy-duty backing, self-laying tiles have a layer of aggressive adhesive covered by a foil. The idea: peel off the foil, press down the tile, done! It works, but...
The problems start when you move house and have to remove the self-adhesive carpet tiles! Self-adhesive tiles stick extremely stubbornly to the substrate and are difficult to remove. The remains of the adhesive adhesive-tape/glue must then be dissolved with solvents and scraped off by hand. This has ruined many an expensive floor covering, such as parquet flooring.

The small carpet tiles can be conveniently stored in the practical boxes, protecting the material from dirt and UV radiation. You should always store the tiles in a dry place and flat.
The large tiles in 1x1 m format are best stored on a pallet and protected from rainwater and sunlight with a tarpaulin/foil. This ensures that the colours remain vibrant and the tiles can be laid at many other events.
