Mesh banners – large-format advertising for outdoor use
A printed mesh fabric (PVC) is mainly used outdoors. The open structure makes the banners particularly wind-permeable, perfect for mounting at lofty heights on facades and scaffolding or in windy locations, such as on construction fences.
Mesh banners can be used wherever large-scale outdoor advertising is required. The net-like fabric is weather-resistant and offers little surface area for wind to catch, even in large formats. The thin PVC layer enables printing in brilliant quality. The mesh tarpaulins can be ordered ready-made in 4 standard sizes for construction site fences or individually in the desired dimensions.
Robust material with high tear resistance and wind permeability
A tarpaulin material made of mesh vinyl is used for the mesh banners; the base fabric is thin and coated with PVC. This makes the material particularly easy to print on.

The high-quality fabric has a high wind permeability thanks to its open mesh structure. It also complies with fire protection class B1 and is certified according to DIN 4102, which is important for use at trade fairs and events.
Mesh tarpaulins in various designs
The mesh banners are available with a grammage of 260 g/m² or 300 g/m². Here are the differences at a glance:
Mesh banners with 300 g/m²
The 300 g/m² mesh ( ) is the classic vinyl mesh. It is approx. 20% wind permeable and enables high-quality printing results. The fabric is available with either a matt or glossy surface, but the mesh generally refracts light, ensuring optimal print reproduction.
Mesh banner with 260 g/m²
The mesh fabric with 260 g/m² has a particularly open structure and therefore very good air permeability; the wind simply blows through the mesh. We therefore recommend this mesh fabric for large advertising banners that are to be used at lofty heights as scaffolding advertising or as facade advertising. Or as banners for construction fences, which are often erected over long distances in exposed locations. This prevents fences from falling over due to excessive wind loads.
High-resolution printing in photo quality
State-of-the-art digital printing in the best print quality impresses with a detailed print image in brilliant colours. This technology enables large-format prints in almost any format. Mesh banners can be printed on one side in 4 colours according to CMYK.
Please note: With 260 g/m² vinyl mesh, the print is only clearly visible from a certain viewing distance. The print is difficult to see when the fabric is illuminated or exposed to sunlight from behind.

Advertising banners with customised finishing
The mesh tarpaulins in both grammages can be custom-made to your specifications. Up to 5 m, the advertising tarpaulin consists of one piece; larger mesh tarpaulins are professionally welded together from individual strips on the back. As standard, the advertising tarpaulins are hemmed all around and also have eyelets all the way round. The distance between the eyelets (metal eyelets) is 50 cm.
Mesh banners with hemstitching are also available on request.
Vinyl mesh for construction fences
The mesh fabric is particularly popular at events and trade fairs as an advertising banner for construction fences. The mesh tarpaulins are therefore available ready-made in the size 3.41 x 1.76 m, precisely tailored to fit a standard mobile construction fence.
The banner also comes with a hem and eyelets as standard.

Attaching mesh banners correctly
Correct fastening is important to ensure that your advertising tarpaulins are shown to their best advantage! We recommend the following accessories to attach the advertising banners securely:
- cable ties
- Bungee cords
Cable ties are particularly suitable for permanent fastening, while bungee cords are quick to install and just as quick to remove. And where bungee cords are too short, the mesh can be fastened using an elastic expander rope.
Tip: Thanks to the open mesh, the sail effect is reduced compared to full tarpaulins. For maximum stability, you should fix the advertising tarpaulins with all eyelets to the scaffolding or similar. In strong winds, it is generally recommended to take down large-format banners on temporary structures (such as stages).
