Printed lanyards are printed in CMYK. The colours you create, including special colours, are automatically converted to CMYK during sublimation printing. This is important to know, as it can lead to unwanted colour deviations.

Things to know about printing colours

As colour reproduction in digital printing is influenced by factors other than the different materials used for the advertising medium, colour accuracy cannot always be guaranteed. Please contact us if you have specific colour values for special colours, e.g. according to HKS, Pantone or similar. We will check the options and will be happy to arrange a proof print for you.

As an alternative, we offer woven lanyards. When lanyards are woven, threads in special colours and metallic yarns (in gold, silver, etc.) can be processed easily and effectively. In this way, the popular VIP lanyards key rings and admission wristbands can also be produced according to Pantone.

Metal carabiners, safety fasteners, ID card holders, key rings and other lanyard accessories

The different lanyard models are available with a range of practical accessories. For woven and printed lanyards, you can choose between a metal carabiner in a drop shape or an oval carabiner as standard. Both hooks are designed so that the lower link can rotate freely from the upper part. This has the advantage that an attached ID card holder or name tag can be clearly read at all times.

Safety fastener and clip

If you would like to add an extra feature to your promotional item, key lanyards can also be ordered with safety fasteners, safety clips or a buckle , e.g. for keys. As can be clearly seen in the image below, the buckle is always located in the lower third of the lanyard and separates the lanyard into a short and a long key lanyard with a click.

The safety fastener is located at the back of the neck and opens in an emergency when pulled sharply or strongly. This accessory can be particularly useful for sporting events or children.

Delivery – is express shipping available?

Printed lanyards have a delivery time of 7 to 14 days, for the production of woven lanyards, we estimate 3 to 4 weeks as standard. Non-personalised, coloured lanyards are delivered to you within 1 to 2 days.
