Whether as a fence tarp (e.g. frontlit/PVC) or as a wind-permeable meshbanner (e.g. net vinyl), large format printing with approx. 1.75 x 3.40 m is sure to make your motif stand out!
Banner made of tarpaulin or mesh?
What material should the banner be made of? Would you like an advertising tarpaulin or a meshbanner? Often, it is not only visual preferences that play a role in the decision, but also questions such as: Will the banner be used indoors or outdoors? Should it be opaque and have a closed surface or be translucent and wind-permeable? And from what distance should the motif be clearly visible?
Banners for high wind loads
Is the printed fence banner to be installed outdoors and do you expect strong winds? Then we strongly recommend wind-permeable fence tarps. As with scaffolding banners, these banners offer a reduced surface area for wind to catch. The fence banner made of mesh vinyl, for example, offers wind permeability of approx. 30%. By the way: to counter strong winds, you can also attach storm struts to the construction fence or set up three construction fences in a triangle for safety.

Meshbanner with eyelets: light and wind permeable
As the name suggests, mesh or mesh vinyl is a net-like banner with an open surface. Similar to gauze, this quality is available in different densities. The denser the meshbanner, the lower the light and wind permeability. The more open the surface, the "coarser" the print image. We usually print meshbanners on mesh vinyl as standard, as experience has shown that this material delivers optimal printing results.

PVC advertising tarpaulin with eyelets: opaque, closed surface
Advertising tarpaulins have an opaque, 100% closed surface. When heavy, tarpaulins also provide a blockout effect, i.e. the material can be illuminated from behind without the light shining through. You can order fence tarps with a matt or glossy surface. We mainly print on PVC tarpaulins with a matt surface – this guarantees effective digital printing in the sharpest resolution and with high colour brilliance.
