Safety vest green: Greater safety with vests in a striking colour
The safety vest in green is used as a safety vest and signal vest. Each vest is made of 100% polyester and can be worn comfortably over normal clothing. All vests can be closed at the front with a practical Velcro fastener. With the exception of the identification vests, all green safety vests have two reflective strips around the edges for additional safety. Optionally, the vests can be printed for greater clarity with a logo, lettering and numbers or as promotional items.

Safety vest green and other colours

Safety vest green with print in up to 4 colours
The safety vest with reflective stripes can be printed on both sides in up to 4 colours ( ) (standard colour: black). Printing is available on request for the other vests.
The print can be applied to one or both sides with a logo, inscription or individual advertising message. Use the safety vest to identify individual groups of people at events and during team sports – for a better overview. Printed identification vests are also very popular as promotional items.

Certified safety vests according to EN ISO 20471 / EN 471
A safety vest in green is not certified according to the EN ISO 20471 standard (, formerly EN 471) and therefore does not meet the requirements for mandatory safety vests in cars and other vehicles. Standardised safety vests must be manufactured in a fluorescent colour whose luminosity must have special properties even in daylight. These so-called daylight colours reflect short light waves, especially in cloudy weather. Green signal vests, on the other hand, are not fluorescent.
Note: Only safety vests in yellow and orange comply with DIN EN ISO 20471 – an internationally applicable, newly revised standard for high-visibility warning clothing. It replaced the previously valid EN471 in July 2013. You can purchase safety vests in yellow and orange for your car in our shop. These vests comply with the safety vest requirement.
Safety vest green as an accessory for events
The signal vest made of breathable mesh or the printable safety vest is often used for staff as a useful accessory for events, festivals and construction sites. Colourful identification vests also make organisation much easier. This applies equally to construction sites during assembly and dismantling work and to the organised allocation of workers during an event: thanks to the vests in different colours, their function is immediately apparent.
Coloured signal vests protect your employees from accidents by improving visibility in hazardous situations, even in the dark. The colour coding helps the production manager to keep track of all roadies and hands on deck. The safety vests can also be printed with numbers. A logo, motif or inscription can be printed on them for use as inexpensive advertising media.
The safety vests do not hinder movement, are sufficiently large and can be worn comfortably over normal clothing and quickly opened and closed thanks to the Velcro fastening.
Green vests for track marshals in sports
Unless regulations stipulate otherwise, coloured high-visibility clothing is also suitable for marshals at sporting events. Signal, safety and identification vests are also frequently worn by ball boys in sport. Leisure teams also like to equip themselves with colourful vests to enable them to be divided into two teams. Identification vests without reflective strips are usually sufficient for this purpose and are inexpensive accessories for your team.

Tips for caring for and storing the vest
Keep safety vests out of direct sunlight. UV light damages the properties of the reflective strips. A safety vest should not be put in the dryer. Ironing, dry cleaning and bleaching also impair the signal functions of the functional vest. In case of stubborn soiling or abrasions, the safety vests should no longer be worn for your own protection.
