Green spray chalk - water-soluble marker spray
Water-soluble marking sprays are often used at events or on construction sites for temporary markings.
Chalk spray can be applied to almost all possible surfaces, such as concrete, grass, asphalt, earth or wood, and dissolves again on its own after approx. 10-15 days – ideal for measuring work on construction sites or markings at events.
The one-handed spray chalk in a 400 ml can is equipped with a TIC-CAP overhead nozzle and enables precise spraying of the spray paint. Despite its high opacity and intense colours, the chalk spray is environmentally friendly: it is biodegradable and CFC-free.

Water-soluble chalk spray in event equipment
Spray paint is mainly used in event supplies as a marker spray for temporary markings. With chalk spray, you can mark routes, parking spaces, event areas, seating boundaries for visitors or even important points for orientation. Thanks to their bright colours, markings made with spray chalk are visible from a distance and yet wash off by themselves after approx. 10-15 days.
Chalk spray adheres to both smooth and porous surfaces. Caution is only required on highly absorbent surfaces, such as painted surfaces, or substrates that are not resistant to alcohol. We generally advise against using chalk spray on car paintwork.
Temporary marker spray for sporting events
Quick and flexible markings are essential, especially at sporting events such as marathons or cycle races. With chalk spray as a marking spray, you can adapt the markings to the course of the sporting event. Thanks to its environmental compatibility, you do not have to worry about using the spray paint on lawns or soil.
Calibration work for stage technology and stage construction
In stage construction, system engineers use chalk spray to carry out calibration work for FOH and other stage technology elements. The intense colours of the spray chalk give stage construction workers quick orientation and can be removed again depending on the surface, e.g. with a broom. This saves time and money – chalk spray is a useful aid in event equipment!
Markings at seasonal events
For seasonal events such as street festivals or markets, chalk spray is ideal for marking parking spaces and orientation points. The spray paint allows sales stands to be set up quickly and provides both customers and sellers with a clear overview. Tip: Chalk spray in different colours can be used to distinguish individual sales locations even better!
Chalk spray as a handy marker spray for construction sites
On construction sites in particular, the ease of use and flexibility of a marking spray are paramount. Chalk spray paint is the first choice here, as it can be applied with one hand and washed off or moved as required. As a construction site accessory, chalk spray creates highly visible markings while also being environmentally friendly!
Exhibitions and trade fair construction with chalk spray
The water-soluble spray paint is also suitable for measuring work at exhibitions and in trade fair construction. Here, too, the use of different coloured chalk sprays can be advantageous for better orientation!
Original advertising campaigns with spray chalk
Would you like to display your advertising message in eye-catching locations for a limited period of time for original advertising campaigns? No problem with water-soluble chalk spray: use letter stencils or number stencils for optimum advertising impact! Of course, thanks to the practical overhead nozzle, you can also spray your advertising message freehand!
Chalk spray for golf
Do you enjoy playing golf? Chalk spray can help you check your swing technique yourself. Simply spray the chalk spray onto the club face before teeing off. You will then be able to see whether you have hit the ball correctly. Thanks to the water-soluble nature of the spray paint, there is no need to worry about any discolouration on the club.
Chalk spray: easy to use
The chalk spray can be applied with your free hand or with the aid of spray stencils. The TIC-CAP overhead nozzle prevents smudged fingers and any loss of colour when applying the spray paint. One can of chalk spray is sufficient to mark approximately 2 m² of surface with spray chalk or to spray a line approximately 40-60 m long. The chalk spray also has a fast drying time of approx. 3 minutes.
Environmental compatibility of the spray paint
Sensitive surfaces such as wood, grass or earth can be marked with chalk spray without hesitation. The spray chalk does not contain CFCs and is also biodegradable, so you can also use it for outdoor events or as festival accessories.
Removing chalk spray
As a rule, you can leave the spray chalk to be removed by natural weathering. After approx. 10-15 days or when it rains, the chalk spray washes off the surface by itself as a water-soluble spray paint. However, if you need to remove the chalk spray within a certain period of time, we recommend testing its removability in advance and spraying a small area of the surface first. On rough and porous surfaces in particular, the chalk may settle in the relief of deeply structured floors and can then only be removed with water, a broom or a high-pressure cleaner. The difficulty in removing the chalk is not due to its solubility, but to the difficulty in reaching the grooves and unevenness of the floor.
Safety information for chalk spray
The following safety measures should be observed when using chalk spray paint:
- Do not smoke

What is the legal situation regarding chalk spray?
We often receive enquiries as to whether the use of chalk spray is permitted on public transport routes. The use of spray chalk on pavements, roads and bridges, for example, constitutes special use and is subject to authorisation. Without the necessary authorisation, spraying with chalk spray is at least an administrative offence.
Storing chalk spray correctly
Spray paint cans should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Please also check the official regulations for storing pressurised gas containers (TRG 300).
Substrate compatibility of chalk spray
The water-soluble chalk spray can be used on almost all surfaces. To check compatibility and adhesion, you should first apply the spray chalk to an inconspicuous area.
Proper disposal
Please dispose of completely empty chalk spray cans in the tin recycling. Spray paint cans that are not completely empty should be taken to a collection point for old paint (key number EAK No. 150104). There are no known hazardous decomposition products associated with chalk spray.
If you require further information on the safe use of chalk spray, please refer to our data sheet in the Data Sheets section.
