Hand stretch film and machine stretch film
A distinction is made between stretch films for stretch wrapping machines (machine stretch films) and hand stretch films. Pre-stretched hand wrap film is often used for event supplies. These stretch films do not require much space and fit into any case. Hand stretch films are easy to handle on site, require little effort to apply and can be used with or without a roll dispenser. Stretch films protect technical equipment at open-air productions, for example.

What is stretch film?
A hand or machine stretch film is an extensible film. This wrap film, which is pre-stretched by 150%, is extremely elastic and does not tear. When stretched within its elastic range, stretch films have enormous resilience, ensuring that the packaged goods or pallets are held together perfectly. Another property of wrap film is that sticky polymers are mixed into the film during production. This means that the hand stretch film has good adhesive strength even when stretched to a high degree. When wrapped in several layers, stretch film is virtually puncture-proof. For professional use as packaging film, stretch films with thicknesses between 20 my and 23 my are recommended.
Incidentally, pre-stretched stretch films not only have high tear resistance. The stretch also significantly reduces film consumption!
Polyethylene film
The stretch film from allbuyone is a film made of LD-PE, a durable, stretchable and extremely tear-resistant material. LDPE foils absorb almost no water and are resistant to alkalis, acids, alcohols and oil. LDPE stretch films can be used in a temperature range from -85°C to +90°C.

Stretch film for securing pallets: dimensionally stable load securing
With hand stretch film, pallets can be wrapped securely in no time at all, and this is particularly easy with a roll dispenser for stretch films. The film enables a force fit between the pallet base and the goods on the pallet. The enormous holding force creates a dimensionally stable load securing system. When wrapped between the goods being transported, the pallet load cannot slip.
